Chapter 6: Unthinkable Consequences

Jay said "please excuse us" before pulling Andrea into another room. Jay frowned at her before hugging her tightly and saying "it's gonna be okay my love, I promise...just please stay calm for me so we can hear what they need to tell us". Andrea sighed and said "I hate the stupid riddle talks" and Jay said, "I know honey but bear with me please". Andrea hugged him and said "okay" before they turned and walked back into the living room. Jay said "please continue Maldor" but Maya stepped up and said "when you guys imploded the universe, the reverse explosion created fragments from the two of your powers and scattered into the universe again because that's what I was thinking about... but as for Victoria having powers, well I never thought about the consequences of you guys having children, okay I made a heat of the moment decision and now it's catching up to me". Andrea said "it's okay Maya but what caused her to go critical like that" and Aula stepped up and said, "she must've met the guy who will be her future dream partner...but to understand what happened we will have to bring the boy here".

Ariel smiled before snapping her fingers which caused Carlos, and his two parents to appear in the Mendoza's living room". They immediately looked around in horror and said "how did we get here?" And Maldor spoke up and said "we brought you here" before signaling for Andrea and jay to leave the room. Carlos dad said "why are we here?  And Maya spoke up and said, "you're here because it's time we told you about your son's powers". Aula proceeded to tell them the same story she told Andrea's family about her star fragments splitting and finding a host. After telling his parents, they immediately shot back and said "you're not gods...I will not listen to your lies and slander against my religion ". Maldor said "silence" as the house shook before Maya stepped up and said we are the gods, you're the ones who slander us by altering our story to fit into your multiple religions".

Maya snapped her fingers and transported Carlos's parents to the celestial temple and said " looks like heaven doesn't it?" Before she teleported his parents into outer space and demonstrated her powers by creating a whole new planet and star system. She said, "I and the others created this universe and we've been guarding it ever since...should you continue to disrespect me I will show you my wrath". Maya teleported them back and said "Andrea and jay come out" and they did as instructed. Aula said "here are the two dream partners from the prophecy " before nodding at them as they began to showcase their powers. After seeing that, both of Carlos' parents fainted from all of what they just took in. After a few minutes, Carlos' dad sat up and said "if your god then kill me and bring me back to life". Maya said "okay before blasting him with electricity causing him to collapse before his wife felt his chest and screamed, "he's dead".

Maya zapped him again and he gasped before sitting back up alive again. They both looked at her and said "we believe you but what do you want with us?". Maya and the other gods changed into their human forms before she said: "it's ok Carlos I know what's happening to you, go ahead and show us your powers". Carlos hesitated for a minute until his mother patted his back and said "it's ok son we love you no matter what" before he nodded and fired purple lasers out of his hands and eyes and lifted up the couch with one hand.

Maldor told everyone to sit before saying "unfortunately, Carlos and Victoria will become the future generation of dream partners who will help us protect the universe". Maya sighed and snapped her fingers to teleport Carlos away for a minute before saying "these two will wind up being married in the future, it's already set in stone but it won't happen immediately, it'll happen when it's meant to happen, just like you guys did". Aula stood up and said, "but we can block the bond in order to limit the powers to a minimum". Andrea sighed before looking at Jay and then back at the group and saying" yes let's block the powers from becoming stronger and but for me, I wanna leave my little Victoria with her powers as long as she's comfortable with them". Carlos' parents looked at each other and said "we'll do the same for Carlos" and Maya said "very well, but remember no one can know about the powers, should this secret get out we will have to come back and wipe memories left and right but speak of wiping memories"; she snapped her fingers. Maldor smiled and said, "there now no one except us remembers the vortex ever appeared...but now that leads us to our next part of this discussion". All eyes looked to Carlos before Ariel Walked over to him and said" Carlos please tell us to the best of your memory what happened before Victoria's powers went critical and the vortex formed...be completely honest because this is the only way we're gonna be able to find and figure out what happened to her".
