Chapter 15 

Yennefer frowned. 

She looked at the man in front of her, who was becoming more and more unreadable to her. “What are you trying to do?” 

Jonathan did not hide his thoughts and immediately answered, “Come on, Yenny. Think about it! Josie is the Levine family’s nanny now! All of us know the Levine family’s power in Sloummont. If Josie is willing to talk to Mr. Levine and ask him to help us a little, even that little help from him will be sufficient to make our company rise.” 

When Samantha heard that, her eyes lit up immediately. 

She asked Jonathan if it was true. 

Jonathan answered, “Of course!” 

He was so excited that he told Samantha what status the Levine family had in Sloummont and that they would really enter the upper class if they could ingratiate themselves with the Levine family. 

Samantha was also thrilled. 

The mother–son duo talked so emotionally that their saliva splattered everywhere.. 

Samantha even looked at Yennefer and ordered, “Yenny, Josie is a member of the Zimmerman family. She has to help us with this!” 

Yennefer frowned and couldn’t understand when Josephine had become a member of the Zimmerman family. 

“Is she not?” Samantha looked righteous as she spoke. “She followed you into the Zimmerman family and had eaten so much in the Zimmerman residence. She is indeed a member of the Zimmerman family! This matter is decided.” 

Samantha said matter–of–factly, as if Josephine owed the Zimmerman family, “Working for the Levine family makes Josie more successful than you. You can’t have a baby and refuse to listen to my advice to take the medicine. As a member of the Zimmerman family, Josie should have given birth to a child for you and Jonathan!” 

Yennefer frowned. 

Jonathan looked at Samantha and said, “Mom, why did you mention this again?” 

He glared at Samantha as he spoke. He was afraid that Samantha would tell Yennefer what happened that night and wondered how he should explain to Yennefer if that happened. 

Samantha was dissatisfied with her son. “Useless brat! You only side with your wife. If it had been another man, she would have been divorced for not having a baby. Yet, you are still treating her as if she was precious.” 

Samantha criticized Jonathan but did not stupidly expose what had happened that night. 

After she finished criticizing Yennefer, she looked at the latter. “You can’t have a baby with Jonathan and already upset him for failing to continue the bloodline for the Zimmerman family. Now, this matter is about Jonathan’s business and not about giving birth to a child. Can’t we ask Josie to do us the favor? You must take this seriously! If you don’t tell Josie, I will—” 

Before Samantha could finish her words, Yennefer interrupted, “Don’t you ever think about it! I won’t let Josie beg the Levine family for anything” 

Samantha immediately exploded with rage. 

Yennefer ignored her, though. 

She told Jonathan, “As you know, the Levine family is the wealthiest in Sloummont. As the heir of the Levine family, Mr. Levine is not accessible to anyone. Josic only goes to work, and she just got employed. Even if she can see Mr. Levine, do you think she can beg Mr. Levine to help your company?” 

Yennefer made her words more explicit by saying, “She doesn’t know Mr. Levine well!” 

Chapter 15 

Jonathan nodded. “Yes. You’re right.” 

However, he did not dismiss his idea of getting Josephine to ask the Levine family to help his company. 

“Josie has just started working now. She must not be familiar with Mr. Levine. But she has moved into the Levine mansion now and works as a nanny who takes care of the children. Sooner or later, she will be familiar with Mr. Levine. Josie is beautiful and capable at work.” 

Jonathan confidently said, “Just like some nannies in families, they can also be recognized by the host if they do well, When the time comes…” 

Yennefer frowned at that. “What are you thinking about? Listen. I know very well who Josie is. There’s no way she will do something to betray herself!” 

Jonathan went into silence. 

Seeing Yennefer get angry, he dared not to say anything else. 

He even immediately apologized and coaxed Yennefer gently. 

But at the same time, Jonathan whispered in his heart, “What if Josephine climbs into Ragnar’s bed? By then, I can talk to Ragnar and negotiate with him 

about the terms…” 

The next day, Jonathan was meeting someone in a bar because of business matters. 

During that period, he deliberately inquired and learned that Ragnar had a designated private room in the bar, and Ragnar would go over with friends that day. 

Jonathan had someone to keep an eye on that. 

About one or two hours later, a waiter knocked on the door and came in. “Mr. Zimmerman, I just saw Mr. Levine coming.” 

“All right.” Jonathan was delighted and immediately gave the waiter a generous tip. 

The waiter was very happy but did not forget to remind Jonathan, “Mr. Levine usually doesn’t like to be disturbed by strangers. Mr. Zimmerman, you…” 

Jonathan said with a smile, “It’s okay. One of my relatives is working for Mr. Levine. We can talk.” 

Then, Jonathan knocked on the door of Ragnar’s room, where three or four people were inside.

Ragnar frowned at the sight of Jonathan and wondered, “Do I know this guy? The quality of service here is getting worse. How can anyone break into my 

room like this?” 

Jonathan seemed to know what Ragnar was thinking and immediately introduced himself, “I’m Jonathan Zimmerman from Prigold Corporation. You certainly don’t know me, Mr. Levine, but my niece, Josephine, works as a nanny in your house.” 

Slightly stunned, Ragnar remembered that the man before him should be Josephine’s uncle and asked coldly, “What’s the matter?” 

“Well, there is something.” 

Jonathan walked over, sat on the couch next to Ragnar, and tried to get close to him. 

His words were full of his family and Josephine’s admiration and fondness for Ragnar. 

Then, he told Ragnar directly, “Josie has lived in my house for four years. She is beautiful, young, and obedient! She’s lucky to work with you now, Mr. Levine. She doesn’t have a boyfriend yet. If you like her…“. 

Ragnar’s expression turned more saturnine. He had long been impatient with Jonathan trying to flatter him like a lapdog 

He finally understood Jonathan’s intention and looked at him coldly. “Does Josephine know about this?” 

Jonathan was stunned by his words. 

Chapter 15

Then, he nodded immediately “Of course, she knows! Josie and my family are happy that she got hired for the nanny job of the Lewis family” 

Ragnar sneered in a low voice, “Humph!” 

The aura around him was sullen, and his cold eyes were filled with appalling cold light. “Scram!” 

Jonathan was stunned. 

He did not understand why Ragnar, who was fine earlier, suddenly got angry. 

“Mr. Levine?” 

Ragnar glared at Jonathan with his cold eyes and said firmly, “Get out!” 

Jonathan hurriedly left the room. 

At first, the others in the private room thought Jonathan was Ragnar’s friend. They were surprised to see him leave in disgrace. 

After Jonathan left the private room, the more he thought about it, the more he felt he had offended Ragnar. He broke out in a cold sweat and was scared 

out of his wits 

Jonathan thought for a while before he took out his phone and dialed Josephine’s number. “Josie, where are you?”
