They reached the parking lot and entered the car.
Christopher did not mention sending Josephine back. Instead, he looked at her and said, “It’s already so late. Ms. Yeager. Why don’t you go to dinner with us?”
Josephine wanted to refuse.
Yvette immediately took her hand and said, “Ms. Yeager, will you join us? Today is my birthday, and you haven’t eaten my birthday cake yet!”
Josephine was speechless.
She had no choice but to nod.
The three of them arrived at a very good restaurant in Sloummont.

Josephine was stunned.
She looked at Ragnar and asked, “You saw us?”
Ragnar replied coldly, “Humph!”
He did not speak as he waited for Josephine’s explanation.
Josephine simply said, “Today is my student’s birthday.”
Ragnar was very angry.
He asked in a cold voice. “So? I called you telling you that Danny and Manny are making trouble, and you said you couldn’t return. But you were accompanying someone else’s daughter all afternoon?”
Josephine explained, “Yvette did not have a mother since she was a child, and she likes me very much. Today is her birthday. When you called, I promised to accompany her to the amusement park, and Danny and Manny were fine then. After the amusement park, I wanted to return, but Yvette looked at me eagerly.
