Violet

We’ve been with my parents for a few days and it has been amazing. My pack welcomed me back, my family accepted me, my new mate is thrilled to have me… I haven’t heard from Warg since I broke our bond which I’m happy about. I have kept his info in case he tries to contact me so I can pass it along to Esme and Alarick to plan accordingly. I’ve been sitting outside laying on the grass under the warm sun of a summer’s day, near a stream when I smell Koa’s delicious scent, vanilla with a touch of whiskey, coming towards me.

“Hi there, gorgeous. What are you up to?” He lays down next to me and kisses my cheek.

“Just daydreaming and relaxing. What are you scheming?” I smirk at him and kiss his cheek back.

“Me? Scheme?? Never!” We laugh as we hug each other. “Ok, maybe a little one. I was thinking about taking you on our first date.” I blush at the thought of going on an actual date. Warg never took me out!

“A date? An actual date? I’d like that…” I hide in his shirt trying to hide my blush. I have no idea why I’m being so shy, but the thought of going on an actual date with Koa…I feel so giddy. Koa smiles at me and kisses the top of my head.

“Great, I’ll let you get ready and I’ll look around to see what nice restaurants are around.” I text Esme about my date and will meet me in my room to help me pick out an outfit. When I get to my room Esme tackles me in a hug.

“I’m so excited for the two of you! With it being warmer now I think a cute summer dress and sandals would be so cute on you!” I go into my old closet and pick out two soft yellow dresses.

“How about these?” I hold up the dresses and to be honest I have no idea what to wear. I’ve never been on a date!

“Oooh so cute! I like the lacey one! That with a pair of cute sandals and Koa will be all over you!” I do like it. It’s a daffodil yellow, sleeveless, soft v-neck, lacey, knee-length with a bow around my waist.

“What about accessories and makeup?” Esme seemed all too eager.

“Leave that to me.” I have a little makeup but hopefully what I have will help. A little mascara, some brown eyeliner, and a light pink lip gloss. I grab the bracelet my parents gave me for my sweet 16 when I got my wolf. It’s a crescent moon charm with diamonds on it and two small diamonds on the side of it with a moonstone in the middle of the moon and it’s a platinum bracelet. She also picks out some small gold hoop earrings but no necklace. Don’t want too much bling.

“Well, what do you think?” She looks so nervous as she waits for my answer, but I like what she did! I give her a smile and a hug! She hugs me back and I could feel her sigh of relief.

“Thank you so much for helping me! I want to impress Koa. To no one’s surprise, Warg never took me on a date, and I had met him in Knoxville about a month ago. He was supposed to be my mate…and all I get is a creepy psycho!” I could feel my tears watering up but I fan my eyes to not mess up my nice makeup.

“I know sweetie… I know… he did it to me too… that’s why I left him! I didn’t stay with him long so you’re much stronger and braver than I was. Koa is a great man and I’m so happy to have you as my beta female.”

“Thanks… luna…” I give her a shy smile and give her another hug. I let out a deep sigh and try to compose myself before meeting up with him. “I better get going. I don’t want to keep him waiting.”

“Go on and have a good time. Tell me all about it later!”

“I will, thanks again.” I walk towards the door and the vanilla whiskey scent is so intoxicating! I follow it towards the front door where he’s waiting with a bouquet of summer lilies and white roses with a small box!

“You look beautiful. I got these for you.” He kisses my cheek and gives me my flowers.

“They’re beautiful thank you. What’s in the box?” It looked like a necklace box but I didn’t want to spoil his fun.

“Why don’t you open it and find out.” He takes back the flowers for a moment so I can take the box. I open it and it’s a heart necklace with a gold chain, but the heart itself is made of this beautiful blue, pink, and purple stone and all the colors swirled together.

“Oh, Koa… this is beautiful! What stone is it??” It’s so beautiful that I just have a state of shock on my face.

“It’s Jasper. My mom is one of the healers back home and she had told me that stones like this have been used for healing for centuries that ancient healers would use it for different things. This particular one is meant for healing and to help return the body to pure unconditional love. I know that you’ve had an awful time with Warg and I want to help you feel better… I asked my mom to help me with this and this was her recommendation. All I knew is that you’re broken-hearted and I want you to know that I’m here for you… I’m just trying to protect you and your heart from getting hurt again. I care for you and I don’t want you to experience that emotional pain ever again…” I can see in his eyes that he’s sincere… I cup his cheek and smile at him. In his own unique and sweet way... he’s trying to help me get over Warg and start fresh with him.

“Thank you… that’s very sweet of you. Will you help me put it on?” I move my hair out of the way and turn around so he can put it on. Once the clasp is on, I turn around so he can see it on me.

“Beautiful…” He stares at it for a moment before cupping my cheek. I lean into his hand and just gaze into his eyes for a moment. I wanted to bask at this moment…

“Let me put these flowers in a vase before we go, so they don’t wilt.” I scurry quickly to the kitchen where we kept our vases; grabbed a nice medium-sized decorative one, put some water in it, and arranged them nicely. “So where are we going?”

“It’s a surprise.” He smirks at me and takes my hand.

“I like an adventure, but as long I’m with you I’m happy.” I smile at him and he led me to his car. We drive roughly 30 minutes before reaching a beautiful restaurant that had a gigantic tree in the front with lights in it. The whole restaurant seemed to be made of wood, but it smelled delicious. “Where are we?”

“This is the Crystelle Creek steakhouse. I thought it’d be a pleasant way to enjoy nature and enjoy a good meal.” He smiles at me and I squeeze his hand.

“It’s beautiful here, and it smells so good!” It smelled like they were cooking with wood and it was making my mouth water!

“This place is known for steaks, seafood, and pasta so let’s go inside and get a table.” The hostess takes us to their outdoor seating where we can hear the stream, and look out to see some flowers and a wooden swing.

“This is great Koa… thank you for showing me what a true mate is.” I give him a passionate kiss as I cup his cheek.

“You’re welcome…” I see him blush behind his menu. He orders the sirloin and I get the full rack of ribs. The look on his face was priceless. Yeah, I may look pretty but I’m not afraid to get messy with good food. It also doesn’t help that I brought my makeup to do touch-ups if needed. After dinner, I do some touch-ups and we head back home, but before going inside we go for a moonlit walk and just hold hands.

“I had a great time Koa…” I smile at him and just gaze into his beautiful stormy blue eyes…we lay down in a meadow near a stream and just cuddle with each other. I feel safe in his arms…I relax into him and just let myself go. I wrap my arms around him and cuddle up into his chest. I feel him kissing my neck and the sparks of the bond are exploding all over me.

“You better finish what you start…” I give him a smirk as I turn around to face him.

“Oh, I fully intend to.” He carries me back to his room and I wrap my arms around his neck to not fall. I hear him the door lock and smirk at me.

“Let me take my makeup off and then you can have your fun.” I sway my hips back and forth as I go to the bathroom fully knowing that he’s watching me. I smirk to myself knowing that he’s probably going crazy. I take my time taking my makeup off, washing my face and Esme gave me one of her babydoll nightgowns, and put it in the bathroom for me, hoping things went well on the date that I’d need it. I listen closely and realize he has music playing. I try to listen to the song and realize that it’s Your Man by Josh Turner. Something about a good bass two country singer and my southern gent waiting for me… sigh… how did I get so lucky? The song switches to I Put a Spell on You by Annie Lennox from the 50 Shades soundtrack… a weird taste in music, but I like it. I come from the bathroom in my dark forest green nightgown with lace on the chest area and hem and I lean against the doorway. I catch his attention and I think I made him blush. The song ends, and it switches to Feeling Good by Michael Buble and I fully intend to make him feel good…

“See something you like?” I giggle to myself knowing full well that I can see his stormy eyes turning dark by the second.

“Uh-huh…” He walks up to me and gives me a lusty kiss… like he’s been waiting for a long time to do this. In his defense, he probably has… I feel him softly touch my curves which feels more intense if he was doing it harder. The sparks from our bond are just exploding and it’s driving me crazy!

“Ok enough with this soft-touch let me at you!” I jump on him and kiss him as my life depended on it! I feel his arms snake around my waist and I bite his lower lip. I caress his chest and snake my way down and take off his shorts. He takes off the nightgown and throws it onto the floor. He leans down on the bed to take in my view and he grabs me by the chest to kiss him again. Soon he flips me over and my fun is over and I let him have his.

“I’ve been wanting to do this since your brother’s ceremony.” I see his canines come out and graze my neck. I can see where this is going and I gladly let him… he feels me over and over until he’s grinding on me wanting to go in me. I lustfully say yes and I let out a moan as he fully goes in. He kisses full of passion and lust for me, I feel his bite and I let out another moan.

Soon I feel him lick my new mark and it was my turn to flip him. I can see he wasn’t expecting that, and I smirk at him while I continue to ride him. My canines come out too and his scent of vanilla whiskey is just so intoxicating that it’s driving me crazy! I sink my canines into him and he lets out a moan. We enjoy the ride and I keep marking him. Soon we both finish and I let my canines retract and I lick the new mark. We both lay in bed cuddling each other letting us ride out our high. He kisses my head and we just enjoy the high for a moment and fall asleep in each other’s arms. Best date ever…
