When Avery opened the door and walked in, Olivia stood up. She looked nervous as she said, ” Hello, Mr. Fordham.”

In their past two meetings, Avery had been in a rush. Avery wasn't sure if it was because of her looks, but he felt a sense of familiarity around her.

“You don't have to be so formal, Ms. Fordham. Have a seat.”

The two sat down opposite each other. Olivia clasped her hands together as she spoke in a trembling voice. “Pardon me, Mr. Fordham, but I have something to ask of you.”

Avery took a few sips of the lemonade. Setting down the glass, he had a serene look on his face.
