Chapter 32: Do You Come to Have a Good Laugh at Me

After more than an hour's trial, her father was sentenced to ten years' imprisonment. Her mother couldn't stand crying and fainted, which frightened Cathy and Matt. Cathy knew that she must be in a mess now. She raised her hand, pulled back her hair, wiped his eyes and said, "Whatever, we are divorced now, and these things have nothing to do with you." After a pause, she softened her voice. "Thank you for coming today. My mother is still outside. I'll be excused first."

After saying that, she's leaving.
