Summary
19-year-old Emerye Mendoza never had a simple life. Tasked at eleven to care for her two infant siblings by her abusive parents, Emerye's one purpose in life for the past eight years was to make sure her siblings remained safe and healthy. That all changed when she was arrested for the murder of her parents and discovered to have mutant superpowers. Now in the grasp of S.I.A, Emerye must decide what she is willing to risk to protect her siblings.
