Edith panicked. She almost jumped to her feet and suddenly stood in front of Carlos at a loss. 

He seemed to be particularly cold today. 

Robert was also slightly stunned. He comforted Edith and pulled her behind him. 

Robert was a smart person and immediately understood that something was wrong between Edith and Carlos, who had been strangely drinking alone and seemed to be in a bad mood. 

Robert didn’t want Edith to be embarrassed, so he tried to ease the atmosphere. “Please don’t mind him. Carlos is like this every now and then. He has a very strange temper. Since you’re the person I called over, play with me. Teresa, make room for Edith,” 

Hearing this, Teresa pouted and reluctantly moved aside, allowing Edith to sit next to Robert. 

Robert handed Edith a glass of wine. She was too shy to refuse, so she took a sip. 

Edith had just left school and had not learned how to socialize, and she couldn’t drink as much as Teresa and the others, who were all experienced, and the wine was strong. After Edith drank one glass, her face was already hot. 

Edith felt very uncomfortable and went to the bathroom outside. 

Because of what Carlos had said, although the private room seemed to be lively, Edith could still feel the awkwardness, Robert took good care of her, so Edith was not embarrassed. 

Edith’s head was a little dizzy from the torture of alcohol. She didn’t know why Carlos” words had repeatedly appeared in her mind.

Edith washed her face and felt much more comfortable, but she still staggered. 

As soon as she walked out of the bathroom, a fat man came out of the opposite bathroom. He ran out drunkenly. When he saw Edith, he was stunned for 

a moment and then laughed. 

He reached out and wanted to touch Edith’s face. She was shocked and immediately dodged. Edith wanted to leave, but the man grabbed her. 

“Don’t go. Who are you? Can you have a drink with me?” 

“I don’t know y 

you. You drank too much,” Edith said anxiously. 

The man chuckled and said, “I’m drunk, but I’m not blind. You’re so beautiful. Why don’t you accompany me and make a price?” 

Hearing this, Edith was so angry that she struggled with all her might. However, the fat man was so strong that he pulled her directly into the cubicle of the men’s room and threw her heavily against the wall 

When Edith saw his ugly private parts, she was so scared that she quickly looked away and shouted for help. 

Damon Hawk, the fat man, smiled and said, “Oh, you’re such a feisty girl. No matter how loud you scream, no one will come to save you. No one dares to take away the woman I like.” 

After that, Damon pounced on Edith and couldn’t wait to rape her.

Damon had never seen such a pretty girl before. Her bright eyes were as dazzling as the stars in the sky. 

For a moment, Damon was excited and didn’t care which family Edith came from at all. He just wanted to have sex with her. 

Edith resisted with all her strength. She even bit Damon’s ear heavily. Instantly, the taste of blood filled her mouth and throat. 

Damon was in so much pain that he sobered up a little. He slapped Edith in the face angrily, making her close her eyes in fear and despair. 

However, the expected pain did not come. Instead, a familiar cold voice sounded. 

“Don’t you dare touch her.”
