Edith’s dress rustled.
When Carlos‘ fingers accidentally touched Edith’s skin, he felt as if he were touching a piece of silk, which was very smooth.

Edith called him Uncle Carlos, and she called herself Simon’s wife. Could it be….

Edith opened her eyes, feeling a splitting headache. She felt uneasy when she saw the unfamiliar environment.

She immediately sat up and found that her clothes had been changed. Edith was so scared that she jumped off the sofa and was about to escape. Unexpectedly, she caught sight of Carlos and Sam, who were next to her. At that moment, Edith suddenly breathed a sigh of relief.
“You saved me?” Edith looked at Carlos carefully. She still remembered that he had been unfriendly to her at the karaoke bar.
“Yes, so how are you going to repay me?” Carlos looked at her deeply with a complicated expression. There was an indescribable emotion in his eyes that Edith could not read at all.
She swallowed her saliva and said with fear, “I don’t have money or beauty. I have nothing. I… I just came here to ask for a favor. Can you help me make an appointment with Simon? I have something private to talk to him about.”
