Chapter 59 

Brian, Aaron, and Brian looked at Carlos worriedly. They all knew what Edward’s return meant to him. 

It meant that woman was back as well. 

In the blink of an eye, five years had passed. Now was the time for Carlos and Edward to compete. 

Carlos‘ face became terrifyingly gloomy as he heard Aaron’s words, his beautiful eyes filled with coldness. Carlos said nothing and clenched his fists so tightly that his nails cut his palms, but he seemed unaware of the pain. 

The name Edward lingered in Carlos‘ mind. 

In the end, a sneer crossed his face! 

Just as the atmosphere in the room became frosty, Edith pushed the door open and walked in. 

The moment she came in, she was slightly stunned. Suddenly, it came to her that she forgot to knock on the door, so she hurried out in fear. However, Robert stopped her in time. “You came at the right time. Hurry up and show Carlos around. Wherever he goes, the atmosphere is always tense!” 

“Yeah. The cruise ship will go out to sea in a while. The scenery is very beautiful. You came here for the first time, didn’t you. Ms. White? Just enjoy yourself. It’s Robert’s treat” 

After Carlos left with Edith, that, the three people let out a long sigh of relief. 

Edith secretly glanced at Carlos who wore a sullen look on his face! 

She didn’t dare to speak for fear of irritating him. 

For a moment, Edith became very cautious. 

“Do you want to enjoy the scenery or eat something?” Carlos spoke first in the end. His face seemed to have softened and no longer looked so terrifying. 

Edith replied with no hesitation, “I want to eat. I didn’t eat anything when I went out… Now I’m starving!” 

She covered her stomach and said pitifully. Her eyes sparkled as she looked at Carlos. 

Carlos had been in a bad mood but was soon cheered up. He found that with Edith around, he could calm down very quickly. 

Carlos felt much better and then took Edith to fetch food from different tables. 

She had an amazingly big appetite! 

Despite her small stopách, Edith could eat so much food. She had several small cakes and drank two glasses of juice, but they were just like appetizers to her. 

“Are you sure you don’t want to eat? This matcha cake is delicious!” Edith’s mouth was stuffed with food. She gave Carlos a piece of cake and looked at him expectantly. 

Seeing her gaze, Carlos found that he couldn’t bear to refuse her. He frowned and forced himself to take a bite. 

The cake was too sweet… 

Carlos didn’t like sweets and immediately shook his head. 

“How could you eat such terrible food?”
