Edith immediately smiled awkwardly and said euphemistically, “I don’t mean anything else. I just care about you. After all, your nephew has found such a beautiful wife, and you’re still single. This is a little unreasonable.” 

“So, are you going to introduce someone to me?” Carlos asked excitedly. 

Hearing this, she smiled and quickly followed the topic with her head nodding repeatedly. “Yes, yes, I just want to introduce a girlfriend to you!” 

“You don’t have to worry about that. I don’t need a girlfriend anymore.” 

He thought, “We’re already married. Why would I need a girlfriend?”

Carlos did not understand why he did not look dangerous and she felt safe to stay with him. 

When Edith went to bed at night, she was more careful and locked the door.

Her eyes widened at the sight of the photos. 

The first photo was of Carlos holding her in his arms in the rain last night.

After seeing the photos and the message, Edith frowned and immediately called Vanessa. 

Soon, the phone was answered. Vanessa sneered and said, “Edith, I didn’t expect you to be so reckless. You know that Simon. is unreliable, so you reached out your hand to Carlos, right?” 

“Don’t talk nonsense. My uncle and I are innocent. Can you stop thinking about ine with dirty thoughts? Do you think everyone in the world has done the same shameless thing as you?” 

Edith’s eyes turned cold. She clenched her fists tightly and felt that every cell in her body was burning with anger.
