Mallory sneered, “Let her in!”
Over the years, she believed she had been generous to Tracy’s family, but Sabina had climbed into Zane’s bed and even secretly had a bastard child. She just couldn’t swallow this insult!
Under the guidance of the servant, Tracy walked in carrying a snakeskin bag.
Her complexion was dark, and she wore a semi–new floral shirt on her upper body, a pair of black pants on her lower body, and a pair of yellow cloth shoes on her feet that had been washed to a somewhat whitish color. Some mud was still stuck to the edges of her shoes, making her appear somewhat restrained overall.
Upon seeing her, Mallory could hardly conceal the disgust and contempt on his face.
Kiley, who was sitting nearby, smelled the sweat on her and unconsciously covered her nose. She stood up and said, “Mom, I have something to do, I’ll go upstairs first.”
Tracy saw Kiley, a nearly ingratiating smile on her face, “Kiley, you’ve grown so beautiful! Last time I came, you were still in high school!”
