Chapter 20 

CHLOE’S POV**** 

Even as Ryder placed me down on his bed, I could not let go of him. “Your room is beautiful and large“. 

“Yeah, I guess that is the perks of being a king” He teased and I forced myself to chuckle knowing that all I wanted at that moment was his hands around my entire b*dy.

“I do not think that you are capable of hurting me, I trust you and know that you care about me” 

“You do not understand Chloe, it is not me, but the beast inside of me” 

“I don’t care!” I assured him and k*ssed him sofily, my hands wrapped around his n*eck, he groaned with his eyes shut, no doubt that he was trying to stop himself. 

“Please Ryder, do not leave me hanging again else I might not be able to bear it this time, I might just have to lush around any man in my sight, please…” I bit his l*ps softly and that seemed to have aroused him the more. 

He grabbed me against the bed with his hands and mouth sucking and biting every sensitive part of my b*dy I could not help but moan so loud my hands clutching onto the bedsheets for support while he dipped his head further inside of me, his tongue relishing my most sensitive part. 

“Ryder… Yes… Please… I want you inside of me…. “I pleaded and when he lifted his head to stare at me, his eyes were dark red, no doubt he was fighting a war inside of him. He tried to pull away from me, but I grabbed him, my l*ps finding their way around his chest. 

“Chloe please stop, this is dangerous, I won’t be able to forgive myself if something happens to you” 

“I don’t care, please just go ahead “I pleaded and this time, he was fully undressed with his huge self yearning for me, he patted my legs open but even while he tried to fight the beast, it was so hard to resist. 

His claws and fangs all popped out, his gaze so dark as he stared at me like I was the issue he had been having and his claws pierced deep into my thighs. Blood poured out, I tried to get away from but he was so big and strong and there was no way I was going to escape him. 

“Ahhhh….. Ryder, you are hurting me… Stop” I pleaded but his claws went deeper into my thighs as a loud growl escaped his l*ps that echoed through the entire building 

“Chloe… Run!! “Ryder finally spoke in a hoarse voice before his claws pulled away from my thighs, no doubt he was trying to fight the beast deep inside of him, I crawled out of the bed and clasped onto any cloth that I could get my hand on.

Chapter 201 

Once I had sl*pped on his shirt, I was about to run away again but he grabbed my hair and smashed it to the wall. His Lycan was so huge and filled with rage but I could not comprehend why he was so angry at me. 

Just then, the door was swung open by Aiden who must have heard the loud growl from downstairs, his eyes popped wide, filled with fear and panic. His eyes immediately trail to the blood on my thigh and other bruises around my b*dy. 

“Luna! Are you alright?” I nodded my head although I knew that I was not alright. Ryder turned his attention to Aiden who immediately shifted to his wolf form. 

“Aiden don’t! You can’t win against him” I Tried to warn him but it was too late, he had rushed towards Ryder, I obviously knew that he was trying to buy me time to escape so without wasting much time, I dashed out of the room. 

My heart was racing rapidly, and I was in so much panic, but halfway through the stairs, I realized that this was a bad idea leaving Aiden alone in there knowing that he could lose his life so I rushed back inside. The room had become a complete mess, no doubt Aiden was very strong but he could not win against him. 

“Aiden get out of there, right now!!” I yelled at him seeing the blood that filled his b*dy, he was weak and gave out his last punch at Ryder before rushing out of the room and slamming the door hard behind him. 

“Oh my goddess! You have lost so much blood, I need to take you to a hospital” I panicked but he was still in his wolf form as he groaned, trying to endure the pain that surged from within. 

“What is going on here?” Carmel who just walked up the stairs glued her gaze at the both of us and immediately understood what happened. “His Majesty did this to him, this is all your fault, I haven’t seen his majesty like this in a while now but your presence here triggers the beast, you really shouldn’t be here!” She yelled out at me, but I was in too much pain to reply, my heart deeply filled with regret. 

“Help me, we need to get him to his room without drawing any attention, if the Alphas found out that he did something like this to his gamma, this could cause a huge problem” She explained and all I could do was nod my head, Aiden seemed to have lost consciousness and by the time we got to his room, he had shifted back to his human form, n*ked and his light skin b*dy filled with bruises. 

Carmel grabbed some clothes from his dresser and quickly covered him up before going out to call for the doctor while I stayed behind staring at him with pity and regret knowing that it was all my fault and Carmel was right about what she said, I did not belong here.
