Chapter 14

“You have no choice.” My mother said.

“No!” I demanded, clutching at my chest as the pain twisting inside of me was unbearable.

I was laying in my bed with my fevers spiking beyond normal. My body was ridden with sweat and my skin felt like it was on fire. Brontes woke up to me screaming. He had no choice but to go find my parents as I wouldn’t allow him near me in fear that I would succumb to my animalistic need.

“Calliope! You must be reasonable! It is in our blood. You can’t do this to yourself or to Brontes.” My mother urged as she wiped my forehead with a wet cloth.

“But this is not how I wanted it to be.” I whispered hoarsely. I threw the covers she put on me off carelessly.

“Oh I know, Calliope. You are my daughter. I know you don’t want it to go like this but life is full of surprises and the unexpected. You may have your life planned out all in front of you but it will never go the way you want it to go.”

My mother is always so wise and kind. She was a perfect Luna. Even when she had strands of white hair running through her hair and slight wrinkles on her face she was still so beautiful and strong. She reached out to smooth my hair back and my eyes looked into hers.

Sympathy, love, and worry glint in them. She didn’t want to see me hurt. I bit my lip and nodded my answer to my mom. I was giving up. There was no point in avoiding the inevitable.

She stood up and walked out of the bedroom. Moments later a crazy looking Brontes came barging in the door. His dark black hair fell crazily around his shoulders. His naked chest glinted in the moonlight. He stopped in the middle of the room, afraid that I would tell him to go away again.

He looked like a ruthless god standing there on the moon. My body flared to life at the sight of him. I could feel my body and the wolf calling out to him. I could feel his wolf need to be close to us. A moan escaped my lips as I felt wetness pooled between my legs.

“Brontes.” I whispered huskily.

He moved with purpose up to me and crawled into bed, hovering over my body. My hands went to run through his hair gently before gripping it tightly and pulling him down to meet my lips. A fierce growl left his lips and I hooked my legs around him. His body fell completely over me.

My body now controls my mind. I felt excitement and pleasure pooling around me. My body was happy to have our mate’s skin on ours. “It’s my heart. It is supposed to entice you.” I murmured.

“It’s driving me crazy.” He murmured against my neck as he nipped at my skin. “I want to do so many bad and dirty things to you.”

An animalistic growl escaped my lips that surprised even me. My body flipped him over and I began kissing him everywhere. His lips, neck, and chest. I left no place untouched. I was rubbing my body against his, scenting and marking him as mine. A delightful vibration came from his chest. He flipped me over and began rubbing against me. I moaned and arched my body.

He placed his forehead against mine, closing his eyes tightly as he breathed hard, “Calliope, I am losing control. I can feel it. My-”

I kissed his lips hard, silencing him. “Let me see him.”

Brontes’s body went rigid before something snapped in him and when his eyes flew open and the colors of his eyes flared red. His wolf completely has surfaced, pushing Brontes back into his mind.

“Mate.” His voice came a little deeper than Brontes but it sent a shiver through me to my core. I clenched my teeth at the whole body experience I was feeling.

“Mate.” I whispered with confirmation, my eyes never wavering from his.

“Mine.” He growled out loudly and kissed me hard. The kiss was different. It sent different shock waves through me but it was still just as pleasurable. I tightened my grip around him, needing more.

“Say it, Calliope Czar, Alpha of North Peak.” He commanded. My eyes flew open to look at him. His red eyes stared back at me.

“I, Calliope Czar, Alpha of North Peak, am yours in body, mind, and soul.” I murmured.

His mouth opened in a growl and he bared his canines at me, my wolf purred excitedly, now peeking to the surface. He sniffed me from my head and down my forehead before going to the crook of my neck where a low throaty growl escaped his lips as he licked at my neck, tasting me hungrily. His hands greedily explored my sweaty body.

“Let me take care of you, Calliope of mine.” He murmured gently.

I flipped him over again and did the same thing to him before our lips met in an insane kiss as we fought for dominance. I nipped at his lips playfully before he growled and pinned me hard onto the bed. I love how his wolf was playful in human form just as he was in wolf form.

When we broke apart finally I saw that Brontes’ eyes were back to his normal color. I ripped his shorts and he arched an eyebrow at me.

“I want you Brontes.” I whispered huskily as I bit my lip and looked down at his body hungrily.

His eyes darkened and he flipped me over.

“A-are you sure?” He asked.

I rubbed my core against him, my eyes never leaving his face. “Make me yours.”

He groaned and came down to capture my lips in his. He kissed and nipped at my lips before kissing his way down my neck. When he reached my breasts, his claws extended and tore my bra in half, exposing my breasts in front of him. His breathing ragged as he looked down at me. His hand came down to cup my breast.

“There is no going back now, Calliope.”
