Fight for Me
You're cute

After breakfast this morning, a certain tall blonde was standing, waiting for Anthony in one of the doorways.

Anthony knew it was time for him to talk to his mate. He needs to. He wants to. He could barely sleep last night, knowing that he found his mate, yet they barely even spoke a full sentence to each other. Even with just the brief moment they had in the woods, Anthony knew he missed him last night. Getting up from the dining table he walked towards Jason, not knowing if he should take his hand and take them somewhere to talk.

His hearty was beating profusely with every step that brought him closer to Jason. He hated feeling so clueless. He has never felt like this before, and it’s really scarring his ego as an alpha.

Being just one step away from Jason, he just thinks to himself, fuck it.

He gently takes Jason’s hand and pulls him to the back and abandoned porch, not caring of the looks he may be getting from anyone or his brothers on the way.

His racing heartbeat somewhat calms down, as Jason willingly follows him.

Getting to the back porch, they just stare at each other not knowing who should start first.

Anthony quickly let’s go of his hand, noticing his hands starting to sweat and takes a few steps back. He clenches his jaw, annoyed at feeling so,…..vulnerable.

But Jason tries to hide his smirk, taking note of his mate struggling to ‘handle’ this scenario.

With more silence filled between them, Jason starts to get worried too. He straightens up and takes a deep breath, hoping his voice won’t come out shaky.

“Is this the part where you reject me?” He crosses his toned arms, not knowing what to do with them.

“What? No.” Anthony says almost immediately. “I,…I-,…” He doesn’t know how to get his words out.

“Lemme guess. You didn’t know you were gay?” Jason asks with a sarcastic laugh.

“I’m not gay.” Anthony rushes out, and sighs noticing the dejected look on Jason’s face. “That’s not what I m-.” He stops himself again as he sees Jason taking a small step back from him.

He steps closer and holds Jason by his arms. He takes a deep breath and looks him in the eyes, hoping his words won’t come out the wrong way.

“I know this must sound stupid,” considering I’m an alpha, “but I don’t know how to tell my father about me having a male mate.”

Jason furrows his brows. “Your father? What does he have to do with this?” He finally uncrosses his arms and gestures between them.

“Let’s just say, he’s very,…….traditional.” He says with a sigh.

Jason takes a small step closer, lessening the space between them as he places his hands on Anthony’s waist. His stiff hands relax, seeing Anthony not pulling away.

“And I repeat my question. What does he have to do with this?”

But Anthony looks almost lost. Like someone who doesn’t know how to answer that question. Jason is making him feel more defenseless by the second. Anthony is starting to feel unworthy of being a respected mate, and even as an alpha. Father would be so disappointed in my behaviour right now.

Sensing Anthony losing focus and loosening his grip on his arms, Jason speaks again.

“I don’t care. I don’t care what anybody thinks. I’m just happy that I found you. So,…if you need time,-"

“No.” Anthony avoids eye contact, trying to hide his almost shy demeanour. “I,….I always knew I was bisexual. I just never told anyone about it. I didn’t think I’d need to. Definitely didn’t want to. Not in the house I grew up in. I certainly didn’t think my mate would be a man.” He says with a shy smile.

Jason chuckles softly as he cups his face and makes him look at him. “You’re cute.” He says with a pearly white smirk.

Anthony knows this is wrong. His mate shouldn’t be making him feel shy and giddy. -He shouldn’t be making him feel less of a man.

But with all this internal turmoil, he can’t help, but feel the sparks of Jason’s touch overpowering all of it.

Anthony suddenly pulls Jason into a deep kiss. A kiss he doesn’t want to end as he continues to indulge his wolf’s hunger for his mate. Jason gives a deep grunt for his mate’s alpha and domineering wolf wanting to own him. Anthony quickly takes advantage to shove his tongue in and get a better taste of him. With their hands all over each other, and their hard bodies rubbing against each other, they have no intention to stop this sensation, which almost feels wrongly forbidden to Anthony.

Anthony pulls back from the kiss, but hesitantly, as his lips still hover against Jason’s.

Anthony knows there are a lot of other things he’ll still need to sort out, especially with his father and perhaps even his brothers. But right now, he knows he already made up his mind. He is not going to reject Jason. He wants his mate. He wants Jason. And Jason wants him. Something he was so relieved to hear. He knows he doesn’t want to let him go. If anything, he would really want them to continue this somewhere else.

Finally catching his breath Anthony confesses almost shyly again. “I’ve never been with a man before.”

Jason gives a comforting smile before giving a gentle but long kiss. He caresses Anthony’s cheek with his thumb. “There’s no need to rush things.” He smiles again at Anthony’s shy and faded blush. “Besides, I would also like us to take things slow. I’ve never been with a man either.”

Anthony releases a breath of relief, but soon realizes as he gives Jason a questioning look.

“Wait,….does that mean,…..are you a virgin?”
