“Hugh!” Skye was certain it was Hugh, or else he wouldn’t have avoided seeing her. She noticed the elevator had stopped on the first floor, and she quickly rushed down the stairs.
But when she reached the first floor, Hugh had disappeared.
At that moment, the hospital called her, informing her that Anna’s surgery had been indefinitely postponed until she paid the full medical fees.
Skye immediately made her way to the hospital.
