From Here to Ecstasy
Chapter 32 - New Lessons

Recap:

“I will rule hell then. I will come back for you, you stupid fuck.”

I laughed as I rubbed his wolf’s head and broke his neck. I smiled as everyone backed up. I threw my hands out, opening the way. Three shadow demons came out of the way, making me blink my eyes to make sure there were three of them. I heard Jim scream and try to run, but two of the shadow demons grabbed him. The other one zipped through the woods and came back with one of the rogues. I shook my head at the way they were pushing their limits of souls. I quickly closed the way and healed the earth. I didn’t want another shadow demon coming out of the way and pushing more limits. I would have to talk with my grandmother about what was going on, but I know she was reading me. A card dropped in front of my face. “Damn straight I know what’s going on.” I laughed at her note.

“Winter, can you teleport the rest of the rogues here, please?” I asked as I turned toward her, catching her wide grin.

“No problem, Alpha,” she chirped as she disappeared.

I hadn’t taken one step and she was back with all six of the other rogues, dropping them on the ground and teleporting back to Micah.

I smirked at her. “Great job, Winter. How about we see what they want.,” I praised her, making sure she knew she was needed. I knew she was reading me, but she smiled and walked over to me, high fiving me.

I felt the truth spell she put on the rogues. I already knew who they were, what they wanted, and if they could be trusted or not.

“What is your business here?” I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest, causing my arms to bulge.

“Alpha, we were beat every day, so we would do what he wanted. I didn’t want any part of his nastiness. He killed my whole pack and now I’m homeless and pack-less. I won’t cause any harm. I was headed to Alpha Summer’s pack. I heard she takes in rogues,” the rogue, William, told me with tears in his eyes.

I knelt down in front of him. "My mom does indeed take in rogues, but so do I. You are welcome to join my pack if you want to,” I quietly voiced, making sure I gave him a choice. Everything he said was true.

He sat up straighter and looked up to my nose. He wouldn’t go any higher. “Yes, please. I would love to belong to a pack again. I was afraid you were going to kill me.”

“No, William, I knew you were true to your word. Please go stand over by my Beta,” I pointed out Micah to him as he quickly got up and bowed his head, tilting his head to the side and showing me his neck.

I felt for these men. Some of them had held out until they could get help or escape from their home packs. But, as William said, they were beat every day, well, except for two of them. No, they screamed so the others would think they stood with them. The asshole of an Alpha wanted to hear what they talked about and the best way to do that was to have spies around the other men. I didn’t understand. These men started out as good warriors, but their Alpha loses a challenge and they choose darkness over light? Did their hearts have darkness in them to start with, but they hid it well?

“Who might you be beautiful?” A rogue asked Winter. “Does he really need two women? I can satisfy you all by myself.”

I could see that Micah wanted to blow up, but Winter ran her hand down his arm and opened her mouth to speak.

“She’s his mate.” Trace pointed at Micah. “You freaking twat.”

The rogue looked down at Trace. Trace stared into his eyes, challenging the sick freak. I watched as Trace raised one eyebrow, like what are you going to do.

“Does your mommy let you talk like a grown man? Get out of my way before I hurt you, kid,” the rogue sneered as he started to go around Trace.

“Uh-uh. My momma knows you’re a twat-”

I heard a crash and looked at the roof of the packhouse. Great, another thing I needed to fix. Everyone bowed, except for the two nasty rogues. The Moon Goddess jumped off the roof, landing lightly on her feet.

“Who are you? I would do you in a minute,” the idiot rogue, asked, making me want to puke up my toenails. Everyone else gasped at the moronic rogue.

She walked up to the rogue, stopping right in front of him. She looked him up and down, shaking her head. “My grandson’s right, you’re a twat.”

“Who are you to be talking to me like that? I let the baby get by with it because he’s a kid, but you, no way,” the rogue demanded as he looked her up and down, crossing his arms over his chest.

“I’m surprised you’ve never heard of your creator, you fucking idiot.”

“You’re the Moon Goddess?” He started laughing. “You…” He stopped himself from laughing more as he looked at the others who had knelt. “Boo-hoo you’re the Moon Goddess. You have no power over me.” He glared at my grandma as I waited to see what she would do to this pup.

“I’m going to treat him as a pup, Griffith,” she told me, picking the thought out of my head. "He needs some new lesson on sympathy. On forgiveness. On love.

“Good. All is well now,” I laughed out at her, shaking my head at the idiot and what he started.

“So, Moon Goddess, “ he sneered. “What do you think you can do to me?”

And, the idiot opens his mouth again.

“Well, I could be nice and let you meet your mate, then take your wolf from you and teach him humility, leaving you to learn humility yourself,” she answered as she looked behind me.

Hell, no!
