“We have a lot more power by ourselves. I can promise I will be the best King there ever was. I won’t let anyone tear us down. I will make sure the ones causing problems will be in the cells or dead before they can run and cause more trouble,” I stated.

The Moon Goddess, my grandmother, laughed. “Spoken like a real King. You need to pack, Sonny and Windy. I left you two clothes in your closet. I knew the clothes you had wouldn’t fit. Check your closets and your chest of drawers.” She turned towards Windy. “And, yes I picked out your undies and bras, so suck it up.” She disappeared, Windy following her lead. I checked my closets and chest of drawers, breathing a sigh of relief that I didn’t have Scooby-Doo boxers.

Windy’s POV

I teleported to my room as quickly as possible. I wanted to see what my grandma left for me. When she told me she picked out my undies too, a bad feeling hit my gut. I trusted my grandma but not when it came to clothes, especially intimates.

I crossed my fingers and opened the top drawer of my dresser, my stomach dropping to my toes, my face losing color. I shook my head and looked again. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t seeing things, but unfortunately, I wasn’t. I screamed, picking up a matching bra and panties set, shaking them in the air.

“How could you, grandma? I don’t wear sexy intimates! I like plain things!” I screamed, looking at the ceiling. “There is nothing left to the imagination with these!”

“Ooh, I love the ocean blue pair,” my mom commented.

I jumped and screamed at the sound of my mom’s voice. I didn’t realize they were all in my room. I couldn’t let my family see my new intimates. I wasn’t ready for them myself.

I ran towards my suitcase and stuffed all my new lingerie in it, trying to hide all the new indecent pantie sets and trying to hide my red cheeks. Why would my grandma do this to me? I knew they would fit but I wasn’t used to having sexy panties and bras. All I needed for my mom to give the talk. And, with that nugget of information in my head, I decided beating my head into the wall may not be a bad idea.

“You had to know our grandma was readying you for a mate. What else was she supposed to pack?” Sonny commented, snapping my attention to him.

I huffed. “Clearly you don’t have embarrassing boxers.”

“Nope.” was all Sonny said. Of course, as soon as he said nope a box fell from the sky, making me want to chuckle at him. “Ah, crap! I should have kept my mouth shut.” I watched Sonny walk over to the box and opened it, finding a pair of boxers with the ‘Family Guy’ printed on them. “Cool. Thanks, grandma.” All we heard was laughing.

I shook my head at Sonny and my grandma. She had whispered to me about being happy later on for the sexy stuff. Wait! She said stuff. All crap! I ran back over to my dresser and looked at my nightgowns, shutting the dresser hard.

“No, no, no! I don’t want to have the talk. We’ve already had the talk several times. If you get a look at my nightgowns you will be all over me about the wolves and their mates. Not going to happen, Mom,” I replied, shaking my head emphatically. She wasn’t going to look through my stuff until I was out of the room. I didn’t want to hear any comments about what she would wear.

Nope. No way.

My cheeks were red with embarrassment already. I didn’t need any more comments or I could fry an egg on my face, neck and ears. Why does my mom always have to be so inquisitive? Why can’t she leave well enough alone? No, she had to dig and dig, causing me to feel as if I was going to vomit.

I decided I had enough teasing, so I teleported out of the room, showing back up in the kitchen. I was hungry and when I got nervous I had to eat. It wasn’t a good plan. I didn’t want to blow up like a balloon but I needed something to take the edge off.

Too bad I don’t drink.

I swear if I could find alcohol I would probably drink the whole bottle just to forget the little fiasco in my room. I decided to grab some water and wait to eat dinner. I was upset with my grandma and my mom. They knew I would fall to pieces when I saw what awaited me.

I shook my head and teleported close to Sonny’s bedroom. I decided to go invisible and drink my water. I was waiting for the door to open. I wanted to sneak back into the room and see if Sonny could feel me in the room. He was getting better about finding me in whatever corner of the room I snuck into. I guess we would see if he knew I was there when my dad opened the door.

I followed my dad, Blaine, into the room as he sat on my brother’s bed. “Are you doing okay with all of these changes?”

“Uh, as much as anyone else could. I’m getting used to the idea,” I heard Sonny answer as he took a seat on his bed.

“You will do great. I have the money we saved for you. We did the same for all of our children. I want you to have it.” Sonny raised his hand as he shook his head. “You can leave it in the bank and let it draw interest or use it on your mate when you find her. But, the money is yours whether you want it or not,” my dad, Blaine, informed Sonny.

“Alright.” Sonny smiled at our dad, but he quickly added, “But you need to keep it for me until I ask for some. I do not want anyone else to get it, okay?” My dad nodded and pulled Sonny in for a bro hug.

“I’m proud of you and the man you have become,” he told Sonny and then muttered, “even though you became a man too soon.” I almost laughed at what my dad said, almost giving my position away.

Sony started laughing. “I know what you mean. I’ve grown up fast, but don’t worry, I thought as if I was an old man. But, Windy? It’s a lot freaky seeing her as an adult.

I saw visitors enter Sonny’s room. “I heard that and so did the eavesdroppers listening at the door,” I sarcastically commented as I grabbed three vampyres and shoved them in the room.
