Chp 5 Mystery man

We finally arrive at the rental place I got the car from, after we finished up there I walked outside with Jax and headed toward the factory. About halfway there Sebastian started to carefully climb down my jacket “woah there! Where do you think you’re going?” with that comment he looked at the ground while he gripped onto my hand with his small black talons “okay okay, hey Jax hold on” we both stopped and I put Sebastian onto the dirt path. As I watched him waddle around he found a patch of grass and apparently he had to go to the bathroom because when he left that grassy spot there would be a surprise for whoever stepped there next. Sebastian waited patiently and my feet and I bent down so he could grab onto my hand again, while I was holding him we continued to walk. Jax was holding the rest of them and I was holding Sebastian, as I was walking I took in all the features he had to offer. Sebastian was all black feathered but whenever he stood up tall he had a bright red mark on his neck feathers, they kind of looked like a tie. We arrived at the factory and walked in to see everyone waiting for us in their usual spots around the table “hey guys!” with that they all came running up to me and Jax, Sebastian got scared and tried to bite Spek as he attempted to hug me, Spek stepped back shouting “woah there little dude” the bird quickly retreated to my shoulder. I looked around, happy to be back and reassured them “don’t worry not all of them do that! He just got scared at the sudden rush” after relieving their stress about their new pets they walked up to Jax not hugging him but taking each of their new pets instead. Jax was left with a empty towel saying “oh so the birds get love but not me?” everyone just ignored him and started to cuddle and bond with their birds “sorry Jax looks like they found someone else to love!” I said with a laugh in each word. We all got my stuff from outside and stacked the boxes near the front door, the last box was brought in by Spek “hey what’s in here anyway” then Jax spoke up “yeah I was wondering about that too!” and everyone adds in one by one. I start to blush and shout out “fine! But its curiosity that killed the cat!” I rush over to the box on top and rip it open to see my bright pink lingerie laying smack dab on top, my face goes even more red so I hide them under a sword at the bottom of the box “haha see it’s just a bunch of old swords! Hehe~” Just then Sam comes up to me “then why is your face so red?” I didn’t have a answer to that obviously! I kept quite and stood in front of the box not budging. They all look at each other as if agreeing on something, just in that moment Jax and Spek come towards me. Spek grabs my ankles and Jax grabbed my wrists knowing i would put up a fight they tossed me onto a cott from when we all slept in here. I screamed at them “No! That’s not anything you need to see!” they ignored my pleas for mercy and dove into the box pulling one sword out at a time. I leapt off the cott only to be held back by Spek grabbing my shoulders to hold me in place “come on guys! Let’s be nice to poor Max! She just got back!” once again ignored by everyone. I have no idea where poor Sebatian had been put but at the moment I didn’t give it a thought. almost at the bottom of the box we all jumped at a huge sound come from the front door right wich was right next to us. Next thing I know Spek is being pushed off me by force and at the same time the other three got knocked over, when I looked to see what was causing all this a tall man with huge grey wings sticking out of his back had done all this just standing there. As if in sync we all shouted “what the fucking hell?!” the man looked into my eyes with a piercing gaze then fled out the front door with no word. All my friends were on the floor in a daze and I was standing in the middle of the room, it had all happened so fast we didn’t even know what to say. As if they all came back from a dream they looked at me and Spek tried hobbling over to me “Did you know that guy?” then he thought for a second “did he have wings?!” It had happened too fast for me to comprehend but I snapped back “Is everyone okay? Anyone hurt?” they all shook their heads and got up from their sitting positions only to rush back to the box like nothing had happened. I leap at them but am held back once again, Spek whispered in my ear “what are you hiding from your family?!” my head jerked to look at him but stopped as soon as they found it “oh no…” Sam is the first to turn around with a huge smile spread across his pale face, next is Kye with the same smile but Jax just stands there in place. Those two come up to Spek and snuck "something" into his pocket, I screamed “what the hell guys! Leave my stuff alone! It’s personal! Spek don’t touch whatever he put in your pocket!” Spek lets me go from his grip and backed up. All i could do was run out of there, I reached my limit and broke into tears on my way out. I broke my way through the hole we made in the fence but this time I didn’t go towards town, I didn’t want to be found so I ran into the small forest surrounding the factory. I refused to look back... I just ran. I finally came to a sudden stop by running face first into a large tree and falling backwards onto my ass “Fuck!" I decided to just sit there and let myself cry. Before I knew it I had been balling my eyes out for about thirty minutes, I finally got the strength and sat myself against the large tree “oh my god… I can’t face them now” as I said that a couple twigs crunched from behind me. I freaked out and got up to run again but was stopped by a stunning gaze, it was the winged man from before “what? What do you want?!” i screamed at him in a rage but got no reply instead he took one light leap and was right in front of me. I couldn’t move I was paralyzed, what the hell is going on? I couldn’t even speak. The creature just watched me, soon I heard someone screaming my name in the distance. Apparently the man with wings heard it too and he jumped up to the higher tree branches of the massive tree and hid from the on coming voice. As soon as he was a bit aways I felt myself able to move again and fell to the ground crashing on top of broken tree limbs soon to be found by Jax. he was panting and crouching down to my level “I’m so so so sorry! I didn’t mean to upset you, please just come back” I slightly shook my head and got up... I knew I couldn’t tell anyone about what just happened. Ever.
