Adella Arcos - POV

Summer and Jose helped me walk out of the pack hospital and into Summer’s car. “I will come to visit you soon,” Jose told me, and I nodded my head before he closed the car door gently and stepped back. Summer and Vince quickly got into the car, and we were off.

When we reached Summer’s house, she helped me out of the car, and we made our way inside the house and to the guest room. “You stay in here while I get you some soup.” Summer said, and before I could protest, she left the room.

Gamma Jose Gomez - POV

I mentally kicked myself for getting too involved in Adella’s issue in front of everyone, but I just couldn't help myself. These past few weeks have brought within me a lot of changes that I dread. I have started to like spending more time with Adella and hearing her voice, and I no longer think about Elena, who was pricking my conscience every single day.

I walked back to the pack house, and when I was about to climb upstairs, a warrior rushed to my side. “Gamma Gomez, Alpha Ralph would like to talk to you,” he said.

“He is in his office,” he said, and I nodded my head, and made my way to Alpha Ralph’s office. I knocked on his door twice when the door opened.

“Gamma Gomez, my brother is inside.” it was the girl who fought with Adella in the hallway the other day. What was her name, ah! Crystal! She had a suspicious look on her face, but that fake smile covered it up.

“Thank you,” I told her, and she walked past me and vanished into the hallway while I stepped inside the office room and closed the door. “Alpha Ralph?” I called him, and he looked up from his paperwork. “Did you want to meet me?” I asked him, and he nodded his head.

“Please take a seat, Gamma Gomez,” he said and gestured towards the chair in front of him, and I walked over there and took my seat. “I wanted to personally thank you for what you did last night.” he began and leaned back on his chair. “Beta Lanzo was a very good friend of mine, and I never imagined that he would do such a thing. But I guess we can never fully understand someone, right?” he asked me.

“I still felt guilty for beating him like that, Alpha Ralph. I mean, I heard that he was your best friend and…”

“He was, but not anymore. I am even ashamed to say that he was a friend of mine. No matter who he is to me, my Alpha duties come first, and in that case, I want every member of my pack to feel safe in here and not troubled.” he said, and I nodded my head.

“Will there be a trail for him, Alpha Ralph?” I asked him, and he shook his head.

“That is the reason I called you in here. I spoke to the doctor, and she told me what he did to Miss. Arcos and this kind of behavior is not accepted in my pack. So I decided to banish him from this pack and make him a rogue.” he commented, and even though I was happy about this decision, I felt a bit uneasy about this decision.

“But, won't it be a danger to other packs by making him a rogue, Alpha Ralph?” I asked him, and he shook his head.

“That would not be a problem. But, the reason I called you in here was not to discuss this.” Alpha Ralph said, and this made me arch my eyebrow at him.

“Is there something wrong you found in my training, Alpha Ralph?” I asked him, and he shook his head.

“Of course not, you are wonderful in that area, Gamma Gomez. The reason I wanted you here is because I want you to be present when I banish Beta Lanzo from my pack,” he said, and this made my eyes widen in surprise.

“But I am not part of your pack, Alpha Ralph and I…”

“You are the person who saved one of my pack members from getting sexually harassed. And I want you to see that I am not sending Beta Lanzo away from this pack without a punishment,” he said, I was a little confused, but right then, someone knocked on the door. “Come in.” Alpha Ralph said and got up from his place.

A warrior walked into the room and bowed to him. “Alpha Ralph, we have taken the prisoner to the edge of the pack border,” he said, and Alpha Ralph nodded his head.

“We will be there shortly,” he said, and the warrior nodded his head before he walked out of the office. “Let's go, Gamma Gomez,” he said and left the office, and I followed right behind him. We walked into the forest, and we reached a clearing, which also identified the pack border. Ten warriors were already standing there with Beta Lanzo, who was tied to silver chains.

“Is everything ready?” Alpha Ralph asked a warrior who rushed to our side.

“Yes, Alpha,” he said. When we reached beta Lanzo, he looked up, and he had a sneer on his face.

“I hope you are well aware of the pack rules and punishments, Beta Lanzo.” Alpha Ralph asked him, but he didn't even look at him, instead, he was glaring daggers my way. “This is not right, Benjamin. I…”

“Shut up, I wouldn't have believed it if someone told me, but I saw what you did, Damien, and if I don't punish you now, my pack members will lose trust in me.” Alpha Ralph said before he motioned a warrior to begin. I was confused about what was the punishment, but when I saw the warrior walking toward beta Lanzo with a whip coated with silver and silver nails, I figured It out. “Tie him to those trees.” Alpha Ralph commanded.
