Yasmin was in a daze. Her mouth had been pried open by Blake, and their lips were locked together. His kisses were rough and passionate.
Yasmin was going out of her mind. “Blake Ford! What are you doing? Let go of me!”

“I’ll control you if I want to,” Blake said domineeringly. “After all, hooking up with him is useless. His parents are well–known for looking at one’s family background.
“You don’t have any family background or any backing. His family will definitely not allow you to marry into their family.”
“I never said I wanted to marry him.”
Blake looked at her pointedly. “What do you mean by that? You’re satisfied just being his lover?”
Yasmin was tired of this, She sighed and said, “Can you please stop coming to look for me?”

Malcolm was waiting outside with the gift bags.
When he saw Blake walking toward the exit, he ran after him, saying, “Mr. Ford, aren’t you going back with Mrs. Ford for the Starr family’s dinner tonight?”
Blake’s face was frigid. He turned and looked at the gifts Malcolm was holding, which had become an eyesore to him.
He impulsively chucked them all into the trash can, making a loud commotion.
Everyone looked at him.
He grumpily stomped into the elevator. “Back to my office.”
After Yasmin tidied herself, she exited the reception room and saw Blake stoically standing
inside the elevator.
She didn’t say anything as the elevator doors slowly slid shut.
Yasmin stared at Blake’s eyes for a long time. Even after the elevator doors shut, she stood there unmoving for a long time.
“Blake left?” Erik walked up from behind.
Yasmin snorted with her back to him. “Are you satisfied now, Mr. Hayes?”
Erik looked at her. “Blake came to look for you. Don’t you want to seize this opportunity to get
him?”

Yasmin smiled and said, “My father is more important than him.”
Blake didn’t love her that much.
