MAVERICK

I gathered EJ, Emma, Dylan, Shawn, Lacey, and Malcolm into the conference room and had Lacey put a sound barrier spell over the room. I could not take any chances of a traitor or the enemy listening in.

“I have gathered you all here for the plan of getting Micaiah back, Malcolm would you like to take it from here.” I sat down giving him the floor. He took a deep breath and begun, “We have to get there quickly, to save her. They do not play games with torture. She is the reason I escaped; it was her plan.” I could not help but feel pride in knowing she planned the escape, but sadness that she did not escape with him. He just finished explaining how she was not their blood sister but adopted. “How the hell does this help us, and blood or not that is my little sister.” EJ shouted. “I know, and I already told her that myself as well, but your missing the point. They do not know that she is not our blood so they believe she is the new prophecy to defeat the Alpha of theirs. Yet, she is not our blood so the prophecy has not changed, that is why she had me escape and so the prophecy can be fulfilled.”

I knew I should not ask but I could not help myself, “How did you escape, so we know how to get back in.” he took a deep breath, “They had just delivered a daily beating of torture to her, and she fainted. They left us alone but to my surprise she faked being fainted so she could talk to me alone. After telling me about mother and Goddess visiting her, someone was unlocking the main door, so she went back to being asleep. It was your uncle Maverick; he came in and was spouting awful things to her. He entered her cell and grabbed her hair talking about how he was going to make you watch her torture as he did every and anything to her, and slowly kill you. I do not know how but she grabbed him by the throat with claws, even with wolfsbane in her system. She growled at him extending her k-9s and told him he would not get a chance to hurt you again. She then literally ripped out his throat.”

I shook my head hearing this knowing he deserved all the pain but I was sorry she had to do it. “I can not explain why but her eyes were glowing and she then killed another guard and when we exited I ran right of the cells which was usually clear and she went left knowing they would trail her because of the prophecy. Knowing I escaped because of her she will be punished until she finally breaks or dies.” I could not stop the growl from emerging within me. She was being tortured as we speak.

“Lacey we can use your teleporting power to get outside the base, the other witch protected from projecting inside the base.” She nodded in agreement. “Once there we will trigger the alarm, there are not many at base, Maverick you will be the strongest to take out the warrior leader, the one with the scar. The others will have to take out the guards and I will have to face their Alpha. Lacey you are the only one who can take on the witch to keep her busy from putting spells on us.”

We gathered around Emma kissing EJ goodbye, and hugging me, “You bring our Luna home to us brother.” I nodded at her as we gathered hands to leave. Micaiah I am coming for you my love, and I will never let you out of my sight, I will make them pay.
