I must of fell asleep on them when I woke up, I was still on the couch, someone gave me a cover thank god because Dylan keeps it like an ice box in here. I didn’t bother looking around I went to go to my room to shower and change.

When I opened my door what I saw would forever be burned into my retinas. Emma was riding my brother acting like a cowgirl, with groans and moans and my brother yelling, “Ride me cowgirl, yes, baby”. I threw my hands on my eyes, “Ew, you two that’s my bed, you’re in my room.” “Oh, my, Ki, what the.” They scrambled to cover up.

I quickly shut the door and ran back to the couch trying not barf at what I saw. “You look like someone who has seen a ghost.” I jumped out of my seat and looked above the coffee table seeing my mate stretching from sleeping in the chair. “A ghost would have been better. This is all new to me and I am not really good with speaking outside the business talk.” “I am sorry as well, I overreacted last night, and I should have just talked about it with you.” “No, don’t apologize, it was my fault. I turned and seen Dylan and Shawn high fiving. So, we are about to head back to the Midnight Sun Pack, “So should we rent another car so we can all sit comfortably.” My mate asks, and Dylan and I giggle in response causing Shawn and my mate to look at each other in confusion as well as Emma and EJ. Dylan was the first to speak,

“We will be following you guys there.” We then went to the car port we built and each of us pulling out our 2021 GSX-R1000, Cammy’s black and white, Jake’s black and green, Dylan’s black and blue, mine was black and red. “So, Shawn, want to ride with me,” Dylan asked wiggling his eyebrows. “Hell, no I am not going to get on that death trap for six hours.”

Dylan was looking a little sad so as his best friend I offered an idea, “So, Shawn how about when we are thirty minutes out from the territory you ride with Dylan to give it a try. Come on you know your mate would never cause you harm.” I said hoping he would catch on and he did, “Okay, I think that will work, is that okay with you, dilly bear.” Emma choked on her water, “dilly bear, what the hell.” All of us broke out laughing even my mate. “So, Micaiah be careful, will you?” “Umm yes always Alpha.” I was interrupted, “Maverick, my name is Maverick.” “Yes, Maverick I am always careful.” He smiled at me and headed to his black SUV.

We have been driving for almost six hours when Shawn pulled over at a gas station, and we followed. “Okay, we are thirty minutes out, and I am a man of my word.” You could see the happiness in Dylan’s eyes through his helmet, he unstrapped the extra helmet and handed it to Shawn. Emma was eyeing me and whispering to EJ, low enough where no one else could hear. “I have a wonderful idea.”

I just eyed her seeing the mischievous look in EJ’s eyes. “Why don’t Mav ride with Ki, come on what’s the harm.” I just slowly looked towards Maverick secretly hoping he would say yes, I just did not want him to know that. “Sure, I guess that will be fine.” “Here is an extra helmet,” I grabbed from a saddle bag and when he put it on you could see his piercing blue eyes and I seemed to get lost in them. once we hopped back on, I got a certain look from Dylan, and I knew what it meant. I asked EJ via mind-link, ‘Hey brother, how about directions me and Dylan have an idea.” He then told me it was straight on from here until we seen a cherry blossom tree and turn left, and it would take us straight to the packhouse. ‘Dylan you ready?’ ‘Always, Kiah, let’s have a little fun.’ We took off picking up speed fast, Maverick grabbed ahold of my waist leaving sparks where he was holding.

I was going to enjoy this feeling, I did not know how long it would be for us to fell these sparks again and being this close, and Akiva was howling in my head at her mate’s touch.

By the time we reached the packhouse I looked over seeing Shawn was quite enjoying his time on the ride. They went from death grips to enjoying it. I stepped off the bike, taking my helmet off and looking at the view before me. It was breathtaking, never have I seen such beauty, the forest surrounding the land and the small family homes surrounding the packhouse.

It has been way to long since I felt the feeling of a pack, Akiva was jumping in my mind, she couldn’t wait to go for a run. Even though we were here, we still had to be careful. Only three others knew I was a white wolf and being as rare as we are it may cause trouble and the last thing; I want to do is cause anyone any trouble.

EJ came up to me and touched my shoulder causing me to jump slightly pulling me out of my trance. “Ki, would you like to go on a run with me and Emma before we go in and unpack things?” They had a right to know maybe they could help me figure out how to tell Maverick. “Yes, just us three though there is something I need to show you.” He smiled really big and us three headed off to the woods.

Once we got where no one could see they ran behind a tree to unclothe and shifted into their wolves. They came out and their wolves were beautiful. Emma Dark grey with her ocean eyes shining through, EJ a lighter grey, it has been a long time since I saw Kobe. I loved playing with Kobe when I was younger.

‘Sis, aren’t you going to go shift?’ ‘Listen EJ, Emma, only my three friends know this and now you. You must promise to keep a secret I will show Maverick when I am ready.’ They nodded their wolf heads and I backed up causing both of them to turn their head slightly sideways in curiosity. As a white wolf I do not need to change my clothes will stay fully in tack when I shift back. ‘Akiva are you ready?’ ‘Yes Kiah, I am ready, it has been too long, and I need this run’. With that we shifted. When we shook our fur and stretched, I seen Emma and EJ staring wide eyed at me. ‘Ki, you’re a white wolf.’ ‘Yes EJ, meet Akiva my wolf.’ ‘Your fur is absolutely beautiful.’ ‘Thanks Emma.’ ‘Your secret is safe with us.’ ‘Ready to run?’ we took off, Akiva following close to Kobe (EJ wolf), and Lexi (Emma’s wolf). We still didn’t know this land and didn’t need to get lost.

We ran for a while and Akiva was enjoying it. She loved running and being free and I loved when she was happy, it made me happy. We then went and shifted back, “Sis, you can trust Maverick with your secret.” “Thanks, EJ, still I don’t want him falling in love with me just because I am a white wolf, I will tell him. I just want him to get to know me first.” He smiled and we headed back to the pack house where Cammy and Jake were waiting on the front steps. “Hey, have a good run?” “Yes, how are you guys?” “We are good, we just wanted to make sure you were okay. Since we love you, we went ahead and put your stuff in your room.” They were smiling too cheeky. “What?” “Well, you will see.” I laughed and shrugged it off and headed to see my room. Following Cammy and Jake to my room they were acting to weird. “Here is your room”, and they walked across the hall where I take it is there room, “By the way, which is Dylan’s room. But I would not go in there until tomorrow at least.” Jake said pointing next door, looking at him confused.

“Let us just thank the goddess that these rooms are soundproof.” I gave him the shocked face knowing he meant Dylan and his mate Shawn were in there, really getting to know each other. I was not walking in a second time in one day on people having weird role play sex. When I looked into my room it was gorgeous. Walls were a deep beige, with matte black curtains on the windows. The bed was a huge king size bed with white comforter. The room itself was gigantic, I felt like this made three of my rooms back at our old house.

As I walked back to the hallway to walk around and get a tour of the house, I bumped into someone falling to the ground with a large thud. As I got up “I am so sorry, I should have been paying more attention.” Then I see a hand, I grabbed and when I did, I felt the sparks beneath his touch. I looked up seeing a freshly showered Maverick. “Well, I guess we are neighbors.” Now I see why Jake and Cammy were so giggly. Stay calm, I keep trying to remind myself. “I have some Alpha duties to handle but I would love to join you for dinner to get to know you better. If that is alright with you?” “Yes, that would be lovely.” He then smiled and walked downstair to what I presume is his office. I let out a breath that I was holding, this mate pull was not going to let me rest.
