Summary
A not-quite-apocalypse fantasy narrative told through the lens of bards, witches, seers and generals all inadvertently trying to evade all out war between two species. Deserting the army in a final attempt to reunite with his wife before the end of the world Bonek makes his way home falling ill however to a perilous dark forest as he does so. Meanwhile a young girl with the gift of Sight discovers wondrous empathetic sea people and must embark on a quest of her own to lead them to salvation. More and more characters join the fray and stories become intertwined in this fantasy narrative that sets to redefine the common era of adventure.
