Avery arrived at the hospital at four in the afternoon to visit Bobby.

Their eyes met when she stepped into his room.

Avery glanced at her bodyguard and silently ordered him to wait outside the door. The bodyguard immediately stepped outside and closed the door behind him.

She lowered her gaze in shock and saw a dagger in his hand. It was a clear threat. He was telling her that he would kill her if she dared move.

Avery realized that she was not that surprised at the turn of events. Her heart raced but not entirely out of fear. "Bobby, I haven't done anything to you..."

"You crossed the wrong person, Avery Tate. " The dagger cut through the thin fabric of her clothes and pain shot up her body.

"Who did I cross?" Avery already knew the answer to her question. If it was not Bobby himself who wanted her dead, it had to be Dean, and this proved that Dean had indeed captured Elliot.
