It was just as Angela had said. The office doors were shut tight.

"Open your doors. I want to go in!" said Avery when they were both out of the car.

"I don't have the keys! I have to get others..." Angela's mind was spinning.

"Then, call and get someone to come over immediately. " Avery did not doubt Angela's words.

Wilson noticed Angela's gaze. He said to Avery, "No need. I can open the doors!"

Angela was so frightened that she took a few steps back.

Avery did not care about her. Once the door was opened, she entered the office.

Wilson was holding onto Angela, following Avery.

"When did your company shut down?" Avery looked inside. The office equipment was still there, but there was no one to be seen.

"Quite some time ago! I can't remember when. I haven't been managing this company for a very long time. You know how much money it takes to do research. Dean is not as wealthy as your ex- husband. He can't take the losses that I incur every year. He has long wanted me to stop this company." Angela looked as if she had nothing to hide. "Since you're already here. Go have a look around! My company has three floors. The fourth belongs to someone else."

Avery immediately took her bodyguards to look around.

Although she felt that Elliot was most probably not there anymore, what if there were signs of him being there?
