A demon, a group of hunters, a boy, and a girl who has known about things that go bump in the night since she was four. Can Camille Andrews protect her charge and prove that the supernatural is real? In 1996, Camille Andrews witnessed the death of her parents at the hands of a demon. Moving from home to home, caregiver to caregiver, Camille's brother finally had enough of his sister's stories, and committed her to Rosling Asylum when she was just fourteen. Four years later, Camille gets sprung out of the asylum, when a group of people need her help. They call themselves hunters, and the supernatural is very real to them. Word has gotten out of a boy, who has extraordinary power. The hunters are looking for him so that his power doesn't destroy the world. Camille is charged to look after the boy. What will happen if Camille let's him get too close, after she's already shut everybody else out?
