I Love You More, Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson)
I Love You More Cade by Coral Hume ( Nydia and Jackson) Chapter 89

Chapter 89

Liam leaned against the car door and smoked. Stuart made phone calls one after another.

“You’re busier than your boss.” Liam changed a leg to support himself and looked at Stuart mockingly.

Stuart nodded slightly at him and continued making the phone calls.

“Hello, I have something to report!” he said to the other end of the line.

Liam almost choked to death from the smoke. He heard Stuart seriously and professionally recount the problems with this restaurant just now. At last, he gave a comprehensive suggestion to close the restaurant and reorganize it.

“Did you learn this from your boss?” Liam asked.

Stuart hung up the phone and did not reply. He turned to look at the door. When he saw Cade come out, he immediately bowed and said, “Mr. Jackson.”

Cade walked over expressionlessly with his long legs. His upper body was still wet, and his entire body exuded a bone–chilling cold.

Liam thought about the scene from before and wanted to laugh, but he held it in and gloated. “Cade, why don’t we go to the hot spring? It’s cold. You’ll catch a cold.”

Cade did not even look at him. He simply said, “Get lost.”

“Alright.” Liam laughed as he smoked and dodged.

The car made an irritable arc in the quiet night and sped away, splashing snow in all directions.

Liam kept clicking his tongue and said to Stuart, “Look how bad his temper is. Those who don’t know better would think that we splashed him.”

Stuart turned a deaf ear and stood by the roadside to stop a car.

Liam glared at him and pointed at him with his finger. “You’re as boring as your boss.”

The taxi stopped. Stuart got in and closed the door, chasing after Cade.

Liam was stunned for a few seconds before he shouted angrily, “Fuck, what about me?”

All that was left for him was his echo.

Cade drove aimlessly to vent the anger in his heart. After some unknown time, he gradually

calmed down and stepped on the brakes

Looking out of the car, he found he had come to Silent Court, where he and Nydia lived.

It was dark inside. There was no light at all.

Cade rolled down the window, lit a cigarette, and slowly puffed out smoke.

In the past, this was the place he hated the most and was most unwilling to come to.

This was because not only did the woman he did not love live in it, but it also symbolized his young and weak past when he was so restrained that he couldn’t even have a say in his marriage.

He blamed everything on that woman and humiliated her in various ways, hoping that through this method, that woman would choose to quit.

However, that woman was extremely stubborn. The more he suppressed her, the brighter she became.

Nothing couldn’t defeat her, whether it was him, the Jackson Group, or the online public. She moved between work and socializing, doing her best to be his “Mrs. Jackson” and was getting better at it.

It was like he was punching on air, making him upset.

One day, he had the terrifying thought of not divorcing her for the rest of his life. He wanted to see if she could pretend for the rest of her life.

Therefore, when he said in front of the media, “My wife and I will never get a divorce,” he thought she would be overjoyed because of the sentence and give herself away. Unexpectedly, she was very calm.

Later on, he slowly realized that she was indeed not as weak and friendly as before.

She frequently showed her impatience, frequently contradicted him with sharp words, and frequently angered him….

He realized that she had changed.

The woman who had begged to be Mrs. Jackson back then had disappeared at some point. He said something only in a fit of anger. However, she put it into action without stopping.

Just as she had said, she did not care about this marriage at all, let alone being Mrs. Jackson.  Sᴇaʀ*ᴄh the (F)indNƟvᴇl.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Cade’s originally calm heart rippled again.

Chapter 89

He stubbed out his cigarette in frustration, opened the car door, and walked in.

The courtyard was quiet. Occasionally, there was the sound of snow crushing the pine branches. Cade pushed open the door on the first floor and turned on the lights.

The first thing he saw was his gray slippers. They were placed alone at the door. Further in, the large living room looked even lonelier.

In the

past, that woman would sit on the sofa and eat fruits, deal with company documents,

and occasionally watch dramas. When she saw him enter, she would smile and say, “Mr. Jackson, you’re back.”

That was the only time he returned four years later, but she acted as if he came home often.

‘She is faking it! She is so good at acting. Why doesn’t she continue acting?‘ Cade thought to himself.

He walked upstairs. Dara finally heard the commotion and rushed out of the bedroom. When she saw it was Cade, she hurriedly said, “Mr. Jackson, why are you back?”

Her tone was clearly saying that the person she was waiting for was not him.

Cade frowned in dissatisfaction, but he could not be bothered to argue with her. He pushed open the bedroom door on the second floor and walked in.

He didn’t turn on the lights. In the light from outside, he saw the black card and bag on the table. He had given them to her. He opened the closet again and saw the clothes he’d bought for her.

She didn’t bring a single one and left them all here.

Cade could imagine her disdainful gaze when she left them behind and the determined back when she left this place.

He wondered what these five years meant to her.

Cade sat on the sofa with a livid expression. His dark eyes fell into darkness…

Nydia woke up very early because she had to find a house.

She didn’t have much experience in this area and planned to go to the nearest second–hand housing market to take a look first.

House prices in Creekheim were extraordinarily high. The average sale price of a second- hand house for every 11 square feet was more than 40 thousand dollars. For the first time,

Chapter 89

Nydia was speechless because of house prices.

In just 25 years, she had directly transitioned from the daughter of Sharp Group’s owner to the wife of Jackson Group’s owner.

Although she would also work hard most of the time, this was the first time she thought about basic food and supplies for daily life.

It seemed that her 40 million dollars would not last long.

The salesperson asked her about her budget.

Instead of answering the salesperson directly, she said it didn’t need to be too big because she was living alone. She said 753 square feet would do.

The salesperson saw that she was dressed extravagantly and thought she was joking. He smiled and agreed, but he took her to see those of 2150 to 3230 square feet.

Nydia was speechless.

She went to a mall and bought cheap clothes.

She found another salesperson. The other party brought her to look at the unit building this time. After looking at a few sets, she finally decided on one of them.

It was 850 square feet, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. It even had a small balcony. The layout was not bad, and the environment was good.

Most importantly, the decoration style was what Nydia liked. She could directly move in with. her bag.

By the time everything was settled, the sun had already set. Nydia went home, exhausted.

She drove the car into the garage. She was opening the door to get out when the phone rang. She turned to answer it.

“Bang!”

There was a loud bang.

The sudden impact from behind knocked Nydia’s car to the side.

The car door flew out.

The shattered glass scraped a few thin and dense wounds on Nydia’s soft skin. The ear- piercing sound pierced through her eardrums.

Chapter 89

The accident happened too quickly. Nydia froze on the spot in shock.

A few seconds later, she regained her senses and realized what had happened. She was so frightened that she almost screamed.

Nydia forced herself to calm down. She quickly got out of the car and looked around.

Other than her car, the other one was safe and sound. The entire garage was so quiet that it was as if nothing had happened.

A chill ran down her spine. Nydia immediately picked up her phone. “What? You’re at the garage door? Okay, I’ll be right out. Wait a moment.”

As she called, she quickened her pace and walked toward the elevator on the basement level.

Behind her was a sudden rumble of the engine, punctuated by the siren of her Mercedes. In the empty and quiet garage, it sounded like a death klaxon, eerie and terrifying.

Nydia’s face turned pale. Cold sweat trickled down her forehead. She pressed the elevator button frantically with her trembling fingers.

The roar was getting closer and closer. It sounded like it was going to burst through the glass doors.

At the last moment, the elevator finally opened.

Nydia flew in. The moment the elevator door closed, a black Ford rushed in.
