would have made love right there in the middle of the room, but she ran away from 

me and left, leaving me helpless.

Terence was laughing, I shook my head and laughed too, not having anything else to

Yes, love, I’m going to the porch.” It was obvious that Terence was being thrown out of the room by his wife because he was laughing so loud. “Was it Ava?” I asked, getting up to pour more whiskey. 

“Yes, she’s mad,” he said and I clicked my tongue. 

“Be careful sleeping on the couch today, you idiot.” 

“Okay, I’m stupid, but no more than you. Holy shit, you let yourself be taken in by a 

kiss!” 

“Yes, and I don’t regret it. It was the best kiss of my life,” I said with my head in the 

clouds. 

“The best and the last, right?” Terence was laughing. 

“You just make it worse, damn it.”
