Williams POV

How... how did we mess everything up so badly.

How did I not realise my mate was not just a human

How did I decide on rejecting her just because I thought she was a human

How can I get Sophia to forgive me.

These types of questions have been running through my head since kendra left. My wolf doesn't even wanna talk to me so he has decided to block me off. I never wanted this. I never wanted my mate to suffer. I though by rejecting her she would be safe, since non of your enemies would try to take her and use her against us. When I thought she was only human, I saw a fragile girl, but I was wrong. Even when Sofia was just Sofia she was a badass. She has protected her and her brother for years and she is a true fighter. How could I not see that until now...

"What if we take her on a date.” Grayson asks and pulls me out of my thoughts.

"No, we messed up terribly and one date can't fix that.” I say and try to think of something else. Grayson huffs and moves to his desk's. He kicks the side of the desk and it flies across the room and breaks when it hits the wall. He spins around and stares straight at me.

"This is your fucking fault, you said it would be better to reject her and now she might die because she doesn't want to face us.” He yells and his eyes turn a shade darker. His chest is quickly rising and falling.

"We made the fracking choice together. I did not force you to rejected her. It was your on fucking choice, smartass!” I yell back. I knew I messed up , but it wasn't just my fault. He is my brother, he needs to help me not make things worse.

"Maybe if you didn't fill my head with your bullshit ideas, I would have never thought about rejecting Sophia!" He retorted and it spiked my anger even more.

"Well if it were up to you we would have never even spoken to Sophia and just fucked Sarah the entire time or did you forget that you though that whore would make a good Luna!" I yelled and pushed him. A loud grow! escape his chest and his eyes were totally black.

"The only one I fucking want is Sophia!" He roared

"Me fucking too! We messed up, okay! If I could fix this shit I would, but I don't know how, because I just want to see her fucking green eyes and I can't. If I had to kiss her until she came back, I would. If I had to fuck her until those green eyes came back, I would!" I yelled as I felt my wolf stir inside me "Then let's fucking do it!" Grayson roared and pushed past me and left our office.

I stood there for a second not really understand what just happened, but before even thinking of it, my body followed him. We stomped to Sophia room and Grayson ripped the door open. My eyes landed on kendra. Her eyes grew big and her eyebrows knitted together.

"Never heard of knocking..." before she could even finish her sentence, Grayson grabbed her by the waist and pulled her against his chest and kissed her. I could feel the heat running of him. It wasn't because he was mad or frustrated. No this heat was from lust and care and passion. I stepped closer to him and took her out of his grip before I myself kissed her.

I kissed her with all the passion I had. The kissed represented the longing and the need for her. It was to show her how much I wanted her, it was to show her how badly I needed her back.

Finally needing some air I pulled back and stared into kendra's golden eyes. She was panting and her cheeks were a very bright pink.

"What was that?" She asked a bit out of breath.

Grayson's POV.

"What was that?" She asked a bit out of breath.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her, so that she faced me.

"I need you back, sophia" I softly whispered and placed my hand on her cheek.

"1 need to see those beautiful green eyes, I need to know that you are still here. I need to tell you how sorry I am. I should have never rejected you. We only did it, because we thought we would protect you at the end, but we were wrong. Just please come back. I need you to come back!" I whispered yelled . I stared into her eyes to see if it would change color and the gold become a shade lighter. It gave me some hope.

"1 know we hurt you. I want to slap myself for hurting you. But if you come back I will work every day to show you how sorry I am. I need you to come back. Just please. Please. Please come back to us." I pleaded and her eyes became even lighter.

"1, Alpha Grayson Smith, accepted you, Sophia Hale, as my mate and Luna. " I said and kissed her again. This kiss was more soft. I wanted her to know I would be gentle and kind and try to be better. I needed to be better for her. My hand move to her face and I deepened the kiss. After a few moments I felt a dampness running down my finger. I pulled back and saw it was a tear from Sophia. Her eyes were closed and she was breathing heavily.

"Open your eyes, please.” I asked as I wiped the tear away with my thumb. She took in a big breath before she opened her eyes. Their they were. Those beautiful green eyes. "Sophia?" William ask barely above a whisper. She stiffens and I let go of her.

"Sophia, please look at me.” She took another big breath, before slowly turning around. I started into my brothers eyes and I saw nothing but happiness, regret and relief. He moved closer to her and stopped just in front of her. His eyes starting forming a layer of water. He felt to his knees and hugged her waist.

She looked down and I saw a internally struggle within her eyes. I stood still so that she could decide how she wanted to handle the situations. After a few seconds, she placed her hands on Williams arms and dispatched them from her. He stood still as his hands fell next to his side and just looked down. She moved to her knees and placed a hand on his cheek. Slowly lifting his head so that his eyes would look into hers. She gave him a small smile and his eyes filled with joy. He placed a hand on her cheek and lightly kissed her other cheek.

"I am so sorry, Sophia.” He whispered.

And for the first time we heard her speak again.

"It's okay"
