Chapter 38: The turning point

My eyelids are heavy and I struggle to open them. I feel so tired and I try to remember what happend and .... my baby!!!

My eyes shoot open and I move my hands to my belly and I feel it. I felt the baby's heartbeat! A sigh leaves my mouth and relief fills me.

"He will be fine. Kendra protected him.” William says in a whisper. My eyes move to the hospital room. Jenny, layla, Sam, Noah and the twins are here

"It's a he?" I ask and happy tears start to fill my tear line. A happy sob leaves my mouth.

"Sophia?" I look up into Grayon eyes. Their filled with fear.

"What happend?" I ask still feeling greatfull that my babe is okay.

"You had to much stress the doctor said. So your body wanted to sleep.” Noah says and claims onto my bed. I laugh and kiss his head.

"What!" I say shocked. I pull up my hospital gown but all my privates are still coverd. My tummy is even more swollen and I gasp at the sight of it.

"My little boy grew so much?" I ask and searched the people's faces for answers.

"Looks like alpha and lucan blood makes a very eager babe. The due date changed. It's in 9 weeks." My mind is dumbfounded. The baby is coming 3 weeks earlier. O my. Stress starts to fill my chest as I realise that's a lot less time that I get to spend on the earth. As I stress I feel calmness run over me as a hand runs up my arm. It's Williams. His eyes are filled with unshed tears. I look at Grayson and his eyes are on the ground but also filled with tears.

"Can you guys give me a moment please.” I look at the rest as I finish speaking. They all silently leave.

Grayson moves from his spot on the wall and moves to me without a single word. The tears start to fall down his cheek and he moves next to me and he kisses my head for a long while and then pulls away and moves to kiss my belly. I am so shocked with his actions that i don't know what to do. He moves up and whipes away the falling tears.

"I, we are so so so sorry babe. " William chocks out and I look up at him.

"When you past out. The babies heartbeat slowed down. It almost stopped. We didn’t know what to do and as the babies heart slowed down so did your. We though we would loose you both." William finished and took my hand and brought it to his lips.

"I thought you hated me, hated the babe?" I asked and wetness run down my face, I was crying without even knowing it.

"No no we never hated you. We were just so angry at you and at the babe. We were mad that our choice was taken away ,but we took it to far. We will never be able to say sorry enough.” Grayson spoke.

"We saw him." He said.

"When you were still asleep. Our wolves lost it. They though it was the end and they were mad too. The were mad at their pup, but then Kendra, I don't know how but she showed him to us. He was probably 2,but he was so beutiful. He had your eyes..." I interrupted Grayson.

"My eyes." I say and another happy sob leaves me .

"Ya and your beutiful smile. He had our good looks tho.” William joke through the tears on his face. "My little boy" I say and look down at my tummy. William and Grayson hand move to my tummy. "Our boy." The both say and I can't help but cry happy tears.

"I have missed you guys so so much. " I say and look at them. Two body collapse next to me and I feel wet kisses on my face.

"We missed you too. We are not missing another moment with you."William says and they both lay next to me. All of our hands on my tummy.

"Tell me more about him and the vision."

"He was between Grayson and I. We were holding his hand walking him through the wild flowers and we just play around. We laught.He reminds me of you. He is so happy.” William says and smiles at the end.

"Nolan. That's his name, Nolan." I say with a smile. The both nod and kiss my head.
