Incoherent Perspectives

Louis Blanchet - A French-Canadian office worker in Quebec - has been going through a rough time lately. Attempting to cope with the loss of his mother, son, and wife. He is also skating on thin ice at his job. His boss is on the brink of firing him. But one night while walking home from work, an eerie glow emanates from a nearby alley. When Louis goes to check it out, he notices it's a massive portal and next to it, a prophecy. No one else sees it except him. This had to mean something. When he enters the portal it takes him to a new realm... One populated by dragons. Why was he here? Why him? And better yet... Why him out of a billion other people? Why was he so special and why was he expected to be the hero of such deadly creatures?
