Dear Reader,

As I wrote this story, much happened in my life. I moved away from my home country, started a new job, and have found myself a sojourner in a world mysterious.

This story was in my heart as I packed all my possessions away and moved from all I had known. The characters and their hearts encourage me and remind me of my adventure, though there are many differences.

It is a blessing from God that I pray is a blessing to you as well.

Now, I shall start on dedications and all my sappy things. I am prone to sentiment, so it was only likely that this would occur.

Firstly, I thank God. He has continuously blessed me, and I’m so thankful for this particular blessing. My story is an instrument that translates my deepest thoughts. I’m happy to have the ability to tell this story.

I pray He continues to guide me and teach me how to grow.

I thank my teammates and co-workers. I’m a socially awkward mess, yet you all love me still. I don’t know if you guys will see this or read this, but if y’all do, know I love you guys so, so much. Thanks for being my family.

Speaking of family, I thank them as well. Most of them don’t know I’ve written this story, which was something I was hoping for in the first place. Anyway, I love my family so much. Thank you for your support and love during all times in my life.

To my friends back in my homeland; thank you for being lovely. Your kindness and gentle hearts are a blessing to my often anxious soul.

God has blessed me with y’all--my precious sisters and brother.

To my Aredor. My dearest friend in the whole wide universe. Thank you for being beyond amazing. You are loyal, understanding, gentle, empathetic, and seriously, such a wonderful person.

You are the one I miss the most, and I cannot wait to see you again.

When I return, let’s set off fireworks and entertain the stars with our stories and laughter.

I love you to infinity. Always will, my dear friend.
