“Has anyone experienced temporal displacement before?” I asked Sheamus who was annoyed with my presence, yet he was taking it like a champ.

“The time nappers have,” Sheamus said.

“What do you mean?” I asked.

“Don’t tell me you forgot the theoretical studies you did, Justin.” Sheamus said looking at me and I stared back at him blankly. “Remember the reason why you are called a Time Trapper?” sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ Findɴovel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“That’s right,” I said smacking my head.

We Time Trappers, well trapped the Time Nappers. We trapped them in a time loop, it was their punishment for messing with the flow of time. It was a fate worse than death.

“Could it happen to a Time Trapper?” I asked.

“What do you mean?” Sheamus asked.

“What I mean Shay-shay is if after a long time a Time Trapper can become trapped in time?” I asked.

“I don’t believe so,” Sheamus said squinting his eyes.

“What’s with that look?” I asked.

“You realize you’ve only been a Time Trapper for a couple of years. There have been other Time Trappers who have worked longer as a Time Trapper than you.” Sheamus said.

“Your right,” I said.

“Maybe you can ask, Olga,” Sheamus suggested.

“Olga Onyx?” I asked, and he nodded. “Why her?”

“Paula sent her to do the job you went crazy on, for one” Sheamus said. “And she’s been a Time Trapper for 8 years from what I remember.”

“Hmm…fair point.” I said. “Thanks Shay-shay.”

“Don’t call me Shay-shay,” Sheamus said as I walked out.

It was weird watching someone else coming through the portal and dragging a perfectly normal looking Adrien Maroon through the portal. I was confused and looked at Adrien. She looked distraught, full clothed but she looked normal. What the hell?

I saw the scientists run off and looked at the perfectly normal Adrien Maroon. The one named Norman scanned her and checked her eyes before turning over to the girl who dragged her through the time portal.

“This is her alright,” He said I couldn’t help to feel that this was a jab at me.

“Of course, it is,” Olga said. I knew it was her. Her Golardia Omicron accent echoed through her helmet. I always thought it was sexy. Though she was such a snooty bitch that I always hated her guts.

Olga reached up and took her helmet off and it hissed. She was very pretty. She had short black hair and a beautiful pair of black eyes. She noticed me standing there and smacked her tongue.

“Oh, it’s you,” she said with a sniff. “I had to take up this simple job because you felt sick or whatever the hell Paula pulled out of her panties.”

“Hey, don’t talk about her like that!” I said.

“Oh right, I forgot you have a crush on her,” she said.

“How do you know that?” I asked feeling stunned.

“Please, you follow her like a little lost dog,” she said. “What do you want?”

“I wanted to ask you something,” I said.

I watched the scientists pull the perfectly not-a-monkey Adrien Maroon out of the room. Norman looked at me with this smirk that made me wonder what the hell he was smirking about before I dismissed it.

“If you are asking me on a date, not in your lifetime.” She said.

“What?” I said. “No, you just said you knew I had a crush on Paula, why would I ask you out?”

“You’re such a stupid little lost dog, I wouldn’t put it past you.” Olga said. Olga acted as if she was at least willing to hear me out and gave a deep sigh. “Well then spill it out.”

I looked around and saw some people scurry around.

“Actually, can we go somewhere private?” I asked.

“I thought you said you weren’t going to ask me out,” Olga said.

“I’m not I promise,” I said.

“I promise from you is like one from a cockroach,” Olga said.

“Hey that’s harsh!” I said. “I just need your help.”

“Fine,” Olga said she must have noticed the strain in my voice. I even noticed her bitchy snooty mood had suddenly relented a bit.

We went to a place that was empty, Olga dropped her helmet and removed her gloves as she looked up at me.

“So, you were saying?” She asked as she pulled one glove off.

“Do you know if any Time Trapper has ever been trapped in time?” I asked.

“You mean displaced?” She asked looking up from her hands that she was pulling her gloves off and I nodded. “You mean the Time Trapper equipment being used against a Time Trapper?”

“I…I don’t know.” I said.

“Why do you want to know that?” Olga asked sighing deeply.

“I think I’ve been displaced.” I said a bit scared when I said that.

“Displaced?” Olga repeated her bitchy mood suddenly melted and she sounded worried. “What do you mean what has happened?”

I quickly explained what had happened over the past couple of jumps, I guess you could call it. I told her everything the more I told her, the more her bitchy guard seemed to melt.

“So…now this is probably my third time through this day,” I said.

Olga grabbed something from her side and started scanning me.

“When did it start?” Olga asked.

“After I went and grabbed Adrien out of the assigned date.” I said.

“And you said she was different when you pulled her out?” Olga asked still scanning and I nodded. She grabbed my head with her free hand and I looked at her. It was the first time I had ever seen concern in her face. She looked worried, very worried.

“Do you know what’s going on?” I asked.

“Here,” Olga said, and she stabbed me something.

“Ouch!” I said and looked down and saw a syringe in her hand.

“If you jump again you have to come find me,” Olga said.

“What is that?” I asked.

“Anti-Chronoton,” Olga said. “I think you might have had a tear in your suit. You said that Adrien attacked you when you saw her. It could be she tore a part of your suit.”

“Of course,” I hit my head. I didn’t realize this.

That made sense to me all the sudden, the monkey girl was clawing at me. It could have been that she had tore part of my suit. I knew protocol, I should have checked my suit after that had happened, but I didn’t.

“You didn’t check your suit after she attacked you, did you?” Olga asked

“No,” I said.

“You idiot!” Olga said but it wasn’t scornful it was more like a sense of worry.

“Will this fix it?” I asked about the anti-chronoton shot she just gave me.

“I don’t think so,” Olga said painfully blunt. “I mean if you were exposed to a lot of it probably not. What this is going to do is help you expel it out of your system faster.”

“Oh, so it would get out of my system?” I asked.

“Yes, it should.” Olga said.

“How do you know about that?” I asked.

“It happened to me a long time ago.” Olga said.

“Woah really?” I asked.

“It was a long time ago, back when I was a rookie,” Olga explained and then she very sternly told me. “But you’ve been doing this long enough to know to check for that!”

“I know I know…” I said.

“You know what?” I jumped up and looked around where the hell was I now? When the hell was I? It took a bit for me to realize I had jumped again.
