Chapter 28; Dreamer Lost Everything Dear To Him

Dreamer watched as did the club members as Cheri and her son walked out of the clubhouse door. Dreamer then turned and walked to his brothers’ office. He shut the door and sat down. Ace looked at Dreamer across his desk and leaned back into his chair.

He said. "I told you when you got back from that run six months ago she was with Snake while you were gone. You didn’t want to believe me then.""

Dreamer said "I wanted so badly to be the father."

Ace said. "You could have been expecting a baby by now if you had remained with Shawn. But you wanted to believe the whore instead of your brothers."

" We all told you there was no way you were that boy's father but you wouldn’t listen. Now you not only lost a boy who you helped raise for six months but you true Valkyrie."

Dreamer looked at Ace and said. "I know, by the way, what is a U-haul doing at our clubhouse?"

" Someone is leaving the club. Moving to Virginia to the Viking MC."

" Who?"

Ace leaned back looking at Dreamer and said. "Shawn."

" Why is she moving there and to their club and when?"

" Her best friend and her brother’s invited her to move there after they heard what you did. And she is leaving this Sunday after the party."

"Fuck, I don’t want her to go."

" Well, you lost the right to have her stay six months ago. At least I knew she was safe here."

" How the hell can I deal with her not being here and seeing her even though she hates me now?"

"I keep receiving these in the mail. Someone is threatening to kidnap some of our Valkyrie’s unless we give them a shipment of guns and $20,000."

" When did you start receiving these?"

" Two months ago."

" But you have not been around the club much to discuss it."

"I have been working on it but can’t find out who is doing it."

" We have no real enemy’s and no new clubs have cropped up or moved toward our territory."

There was a knock on the door and Ace yelled come in. Dreamer and Ace looked up as Gunner walked into the office.

"What’s up Gunner" he asked?

"You are not going to believe this but Bones is here."

" This has to be about Donna. What else can go wrong" he asked?
