I was home when I got the phone call.

" She said the only birth certificate her name will be on is the child who she gives birth to."

I leaned back on the couch and thought about when I first met Shawn. She was giving one of my brother's hell and she then punched him square in the jaw. When he dropped to the ground we could not believe that small tiny woman packed such a punch. It was all because he smacked her on her ass.

I would watch her when she came into the bar with her older sister. They would mind their business and just drink, dance, and have fun. She and her sister would never dance with any men unless they knew them.

They came in alone and they left alone. They never took a man home nor did they bring one with them unless they were their brothers or friends.

Her sister watched me too. She monitored how I acted in the bar and around women. Once her sister encouraged Shawn to ask me to dance to a slow song and we had been together for four years.

I don't even remember how I started to fuck that slut and when she got pregnant she came to me the day I was to give Shawn her cut. I then had to tell Shawn and it broke her.

The club members told me that I was not the father but I didn't listen. I believe her and walked out on Shawn. I had not known how much she hated me for that but now I do.
