Chapter 45: The Party

"I had moved into Gunners' room the day we got our rings."

I had just come out of the bathroom and Gunner was staring at me.

"Do I look alright" I asked?

"I was wearing a knee-length dress and left my hair hang down. You look beautiful" I said as I kissed her. He took my hand and said let's go party. As we walked into the bar and over to the VIP table I received several whistles.

"I asked the waitress for coffee and Gunner got a beer."

We had been talking when Rage stood up and walked to stand in front of the bar.

"First off welcome to the party."

" I have a few announcements. First off Shawn and Gunner please come forward."

I said holding Shawn's hand.

"Some of you do not know yet. But, I asked Shawn to be my woman and to marry me. She said yes holding her hand up showing her engagement ring."

I then took the box that Rage handed me.

I opened the lid and lifted her cut out.

"I put the cut on Shawn and she said "it's beautiful" and I turned so everyone could see Property of Gunner on it."

" I reached up and kissed him. We were congratulated as we walked back to the VIP table."

"The next announcement is my new enforcer."

" Will Jean and Malice please come forward?"

" I would like to introduce you all to your new Enforcer Malice."

" I handed him the enforcer patch and congratulated him."

They then walked back to the VIP table when Karan walked up grinding her teeth.

"Can I help you Karan"

"Rage asked?"

"I thought you would make Shadow your new enforcer that is why I insisted we come back here."

I looked at her grinning and asked. "Why would you think that I would make Shadow the new enforcer?"

" He cheated with you, his brother's woman. You choose the wrong brother. I never planned on making Shadow my VP or enforcer."

"He never wanted the responsibility."

" You made your bed Karan now you have to lie in it. Hell, even Gunner is taken now and out of your reach."

" Best you go back to your assigned table or better yet. Go back to Florida."

We watched her walk back to Shadow and sit down.

"Then we heard her screaming at Shadow as he leaned his chair back against the wall with his arms across his chest grinning."

" You stupid bitch."

" Did you really think that I wanted to be VP or enforcer?"

" Hell, the only thing I wanted from you is in your uterus. That child. After he or she is born you can leave for all I care. But the child as you know will stay with me per biker law."

"I took you from my brother so you wouldn't ruin him. Glad I did."

" Looks like he has a much more beautiful woman now. One that will make him happy because you couldn't you would have cheated on him just like you have me. Did you think I didn't know? I knew. I just didn't care."

"At least you did it after you got pregnant with my child."

" You son of a bitch. You used me."

" I sure did. I used you just like you tried to use me."

" But you see Karan. I won you didn't."

" And to make sure you do not leave and take my child with you, Rage has agreed that you will remain in your room with guards outside your door."

She smiled. "You can wipe that smile off your face Karan because here come your guards now"

I said looking at the two muscled females.

"Karan, Karan, Karan did you really think we would let men guard your door I said grinning."

" Take her to her room and do not let her leave. Her meals will be brought to her."

They each took an arm and escorted her down the hallway "screaming that she was going to kill Shadow."

We laughed as Shadow got his revenge on his wife.
