Chapter 77: The Contractors

I looked up as the contractors stopped their trucks beside the RV. I shook hands with them and told them where I wanted the house and garage that will be attached. It will be a three-car garage. I showed the design of the house.

It was decided that the pound will be off to the right of the house and be 500 feet away from the house. The pool will be placed out back with a large patio between the pool and back door.

The construction will take place this weekend. They will bring in the equipment to start the project and it will be completely finished within 6 months. I thanked them and watched them as they left the property.

I got my bike out of the back of the RV before locking it up. I claimed on and drove to town. As I pulled into my driveway and pushed the garage door button I drove in shut the door and got off my bike.

I walked into my kitchen and made a pot of coffee before I walked into the office and grabbed my three-ring binder and sketch pad. I then walked back to the kitchen and laid everything on the table. I poured a cup of coffee and sat down. I opened my binder to review the tattoo drawings and opening my sketch pad. I had been working on my new tattoo when my phone rang.

I looked down and saw that is was Shawn. I ignored the call letting it go to voicemail. I decided to put my phone in silent mode since I am working. I finished the pot of coffee off when I heard my doorbell ring.

I looked up at the camera and saw that it was Diamond. I walked into the living room and opened the door.

"Come on in Diamond."

I saw she had suitcases and her bike was on a small trailer behind her truck.

She put the suitcases inside the door and I opened the garage door. Once everything was done and she had her clothes put in the room she would be sleeping in I handed her a key to the front door and another garage door opener.

We grabbed a bottle of beer and walked out the back and sat down on the back porch.

"I told her everything that happened since I last saw her."

" I can't believe that Shawn is treating you this way. When you are ready to date again you will. If you want a one night stand so what. You are a big girl. And if you never want to marry or be claimed that is also up to you."

"I know she is your sister but she needs to stay out of your business. Keep her opinions to herself."

" Listen, boss, I will help you in any way I can."

" Diamond so help me god if you keep calling me boss instead of Jessie I will punch you. We are friends. You are the only one that knows everything about me. Even my sisters do not know everything."
