Chapter 84: Two Weeks Later

I was still working on paperwork and sighed. I finally finished all of it and was heading back to Ace's clubhouse. Back at Jessie's house she has been very depressed. And in pain. I was crying but I refused to take the pain pills.

"I can't understand it. I miss Rage."

" Jessie come on take your pain pills."

" No. Diamond. I think Rage hates me now. He has not seen me for two weeks. He went back to his clubhouse. I pushed him too far. Now he doesn't want to see me anymore."

"She cries all the time. And she is crying because Rage left and went back to his club house and she thinks he doesn't want to see her anymore."

" Diamond. Rage is on his way back to my clubhouse."

"He should be here in 10 minutes. As soon as he gets here we will be over."

I drank my beer when I heard the bike stop in front of the club. I walked out and "told Rage what Diamond said."

" We started the bikes and drove to Jessie's."

We walked in and saw Diamond sitting on the couch.

"She is upstairs. I walked up the stairs and followed the crying. I walked in and shut the door behind me."

"Diamond I told you I will not take them now go away."

I walked over and kneeled down next to the bed.

"Jessie take your medication."

"Rage you are back."

" I said I would be back didn't I."

"Now take your pain medication."

Rage handed me a pain pill and water. I swallowed the pill.

" Will you lay with me until I fall asleep?"

I stood up and took my cut off. I took my boots off and climbed into the bed behind her.

I closed my eyes and felt her roll over and lay her head on my chest. Soon she was sleeping. I closed my eyes and dosed off. I didn't hear the door crack open or see Ace and Diamond look at Jessie and me.

"She is fighting her love for him Ace."

" I know" I said sighing.

"At least she took the medication for him."

" Let's let them sleep. Neither one of them have slept well."

We walked down the stairs.

I woke up to Jessie moaning. I heard a knock on the door and said "come in."

" Diamond walked in carrying a tray with two plates and coffee on it. I brought you two breakfast. Get her to eat Rage. She has barely ate since she came home."

"I woke Jessie up."

" Jessie, baby."

" What?"

" You need to eat breakfast."

" I don't want it."

" Jessie look at me."

I watched her open her eyes.

"I need you to sit up and eat breakfast."

Diamond helped Jessie sit up and I put the tray on her lap. I took my plate and coffee. I sat the coffee on the bedside table. After we ate I handed her the pain pill. I then helped her to the bathroom and she took a shower.

I helped Jessie to dress before I helped her down the stairs. Once in the living room I helped her to sit down on the couch with soft pillows behind her back.

I sat down on the couch next to her.

"Jessie did you miss me?"

" Yes, I missed you Rage."

"I missed you too. But I had to get work done at my clubhouse. When you get better will you go out on a date with me?"

"I would like that Rage."

" That makes me really happy Jessie."

I sat down on the other end of the couch and watched a show with her. I did not realize it but I was rubbing her legs as she had them stretched out on my lap.

Soon Diamond walked into the room.

"She needed that sleep Rage. She thought you didn't want to see her again and she pushed you to far."

" Never. I told her I would be back."

"Stay with her here. Don't go back to the clubhouse. I will even go and bring your things here if you will stay."

" I will stay."

" Good. I will be back with your things."

I watched as she walked out the door shutting it behind her.
