*SIX YEARS LATER*

Neil and Haya both toiled hard to earn money to secure the life of their little angel, Natalie. Six years passed, their little angel turned 8 years old. It was her 8th Birthday.

"Baby wake up, you're getting late for your school", Haya told lovingly.

"Mom, I don't want to go to school. Today is my birthday so please let me take a holiday", Natalie requested cutely.

"No baby, we will celebrate your birthday after you come from your school”, Haya told,

Neil came into the room running. Worries were visible on his face and sweat beads had formed on his forehead.

"Natalie baby you quickly freshen up, brush your teeth and come for breakfast. Okay?", Haya asked lovingly.

"Okay", Natalie replied cutely and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Haya went out of the room with Neil.

"Neil, is everything okay? You seem to be worried.”, Haya asked concernedly.

"No Haya. Nothing is okay", Neil replied.

"Please stop scaring me and tell me what's the matter?”, Haya pleaded.

"Red Blood Pack has attacked our Pack. They have become even more powerful. Brother Liam needs our help. We have to leave urgently”, Neil replied.

"Oh! Moon Goddess! Who will take care of Natalie, if something happens to us?", Haya asked with tears in her eyes.

"I have called Tony, Maria, and our lawyer. I have transferred all our property and money to Natalie's name. If something happens to us, our Angel would still live a good life and I'm sure moon-goddess will protect her", Neil told hugging Haya.

There was a knock at the door,

"I'll check who is it. Get Natalie ready for school”, Neil told and went to open the door.

It was Tony, Maria, and the lawyer.

"Is everything okay, Neil? Why did you call us so urgently?" Tony inquired.

"I will tell you everything, please have a seat first", Neil told and they all got seated on the sofa. "Mr. Neil, as per your instructions we have transferred all your property and money to your daughter's name, We need your signature!”, The Lawyer told,

Neil read the papers carefully and then signed the documents. The lawyer took leave.

Tony asked, "Neil what is going on? You called me so early in the morning, you transferred all your property to Natalie's name? Is everything alright?"

"No Tony, nothing is fine. I need a favor from you", Neil replied.

"Tell me, Neil, how can we help you?", Maria told.

"Maria, Tony-----actually--- we are in huge trouble. Haya and I have some urgent work. Tony, there are quiet possibilities that we won't return alive”, Neil said.

Tony and Maria looked at each other shockingly.

"Tony, Maria I want a promise from both of you that you would take care of Natalie as your daughter if something happens to us”

"Neil why don't you seek help from the cops if you think your life is in danger?", Maria asked. "Maria I cannot. You both, just assure me, that if something happens to Haya and me, you'll take care of Natalie!" Neil said.

Haya tried to tell Natalie that she could not be able to drop Natalie at her school as Neil and she had some work.

"Mom I don't want to go to school”, Natalie cried.

"Why my baby doesn't want to go to school?", Haya asked tenderly wiping off Natalie's tears. "Mom I'm feeling scared. You and Daddy also come with me”, Natalie pleaded as she was getting intuitions that something wrong is going to happen. She held Natalie's hands and took her to the dining table. She served oats and juice to her and Natalie started eating.

“Mommy you and daddy also sit for breakfast with me, Please", Natalie pleaded cutely.

Haya and Neil nodded and they sat for breakfast with Tony and Maria. They both looked at their little angel with tears in their eyes as they thought that - “it might be their last breakfast with their daughter’

After finishing with their breakfast, Haya told, "Natalie baby, Uncle Tony and Aunt Maria will drop you and pick you from school, today. Be my good girl and don't harass them. Okay?"

"Okay, Mumma", Natalie replied smiling.

Neil went towards Natalie and bent down. He kissed her forehead and made a silent prayer, "Oh Moon Goddess, we entrust our child to you, bestow your blessing upon our little angel and keep her away from all the harms.”

Neil did not realize that tears were flowing down his cheeks

Natalie wiped off his tears and told cutely, "Daddy why are you crying?"

Neil held back his tears and replied, "No Angel, Daddy is not crying. By the way, Daddy has brought a birthday gift for you"

"Birthday Gift?", Natalie asked excitedly.

"Yes, Birthday gift", Neil replied pulling her chubby cheeks.

"Please show me", Natalie requested cutely.

"You have to close your eyes, for that", Neil replied.

Natalie immediately closed her eyes. Neil removed a crescent moon shaped blue colored pendant from his pocket and put it around Natalie's neck.

Natalie opened her eyes and saw the pendant around her neck.

"Wow, this so pretty”, Natalie said touching the pendant.

"You liked it?", Neil asked.

"I loved it. Thank you for this beautiful gift. I love you Daddy", Natalie told planting a kiss on his cheeks.

Haya came with a big chocolate box, in her hand.

"Wow, chocolates? Is it for me?", Natalie asked cutely.

"Yes, this is for my Lil angel", Haya told pecking Natalie's cheeks.

"Thank you, mommy, thank you, daddy, for these beautiful gifts. I love you", Natalie told hugging them.

"We Love you too, Baby", Haya and Neil replied hugging her back and holding back their tears. "Now baby, go to school, it's getting late!”, Neil replied.

"Bye. I will miss you both”, Natalie replied waving her hands.

No sooner did Natalie left for school with Tony and Maria, Haya broke down in tears. Neil encircled his arms around her and kissed her forehead.

Suddenly they heard banging on the door.

"Neil, Haya--- please open the door", they heard a sharp voice.

"I guess it's Delta Nicolas’ voice!", Haya told.

Neil went to open the door and he was shocked to see Delta Nicolas who was covered in blood. "Nicolas, Are you okay?", Neil asked.

"Neil, Alpha Liam--- needs your help. It's getting tough to fight with the Red Blood Pack!", Delta Nicolas replied.

"I won't spare them.”, Neil replied clenching his fist.

"What about Theodore, Zen, Luna Norah, and all the women and children of the pack?”, Asked Haya worriedly.

"They are in their rooms but in no time the warriors of Red Blood Pack will enter inside our pack!", Delta Nicolas replied.

Haya and Neil went to their pack with Delta Nicolas.
