THEODORE'S POV:

When I was talking to Steven, I heard Natalie's voice, from outside the office. I came out of my office and saw Natalie and Abraham standing outside the office and were chatting with each other. "What are you doing over here, Natalie?" I asked her.

"Theodore, I came to meet Abram, " she replied cutely.

"What were you doing outside my office Abraham, " I asked raising my brows. He began stammering, and sweat beads appeared on his forehead.

"Alpha Theodore...er...actually I was thirsty, " he answered.

"Is it? There are glass and a jug placed in your room, " I replied looking towards him.

He apologized saying that he did not see, the glass and the jug kept in his room. I was about to recommend him to go to the doctor and get his eyesight checked. (NOTE THE SARCASM)

But my extra sweet mate, she replied, "Abram, there is no need to apologize. It is totally fine. How are you feeling now? Do you know how much concerned was I for you? If God forbid something would have happened to you, I would have had to live with a pang of guilt for my entire life, " Trust me, I felt like...er...leave it. She is way too naive, she thinks that the whole world is like her.

I held her waist and said smiling, "Baby, the doctors said, he had a small injury. And he is a werewolf his injuries would heal soon”

"Theodore are you free?" She asked me cutely. "I am always free for you, " I replied smiling.

"Can you please tell me in detail what is marking and why haven't you marked me till yet? " Natalie asked me. I was shocked for a few minutes, but later a smile crept on my face.

"Sure, I will tell you everything. But did you have your breakfast?" I asked and she nodded

"Alright then, let us go to our room, " I said gripping her waist. I noticed Abram was looking at us with his evil eye. I held Natalie's waist protectively, showing Abram that I would protect my mate from the evils like him and his brother.

We went to our room, and I secured the door.

Natalie asked cutely, "Theodore now tell me what is marking? "

I chuckled looking at her curiosity.

"Well, a werewolf bites his mate to show that she is his. And the mating process completes when they have sex

" Why didn't you bite me? Are you not proud to have me as your mate. Ya, why would you be proud? You are so strong, you are the Alpha of Blue Moon Pack and I am a weak human, " Natalie responded with a disappointment in her voice.

"Hey, who said that I am not happy to have you as my mate?" I asked sitting beside her taking her small hands in my large ones and kissing her knuckles.

"1 am blessed to have you, I thank the moon goddess for sending you in my life, " I replied kissing her forehead.

"Cassandra, and Anna, they told me that their mates marked them when they found them, but you did not mark me as yet, " Nandani replied.

"Because Anna and Cassandra are werewolves, you are a human. You were not aware of this, I wanted to explain to you everything at the right moment and then mark you. I never wanted to force you, in any way, baby" I replied lovingly.

"You are so sweet and caring. I love you, Theodore," Natalie said and I looked at her with my eyes wide open. I was shocked. I was unable to believe that she confessed that she loves me.

"Could you please repeat what did you just say?" I asked her.

"I love you," she said cutely. That was it, I slammed my lips on hers and kissed her passionately, pouring all my love in the kiss, which I had for her. She kissed me back with the same passion When I felt she was breathless, I broke the kiss. I looked at my mate who was blushing. I kissed her forehead and pecked her cheeks.

"Should I mark you, Natalie?" I asked her.

"Yes, I am very excited,” Natalie replied.

"Are you sure?" I asked her for one last time and she replied yes. I did not waste another moment and bit her on her shoulder. She grimaced in pain and gripped my vest tightly.

"Theodore, please stop, it's hurting,” she told with tears in her eyes. My wolf had empowered me.

I left her after my wolf was contented. I noticed her shoulder was bleeding. Her eyes were dropping and she looked at me with teary eyes. I lifted her in my arms and placed her on the bed. "I am feeling tired,” Natalie said. I wiped off her tears and kissed her forehead whispering, "Sleep baby, I am here beside you,"

She was so exhausted that she slept in no time. I kissed her forehead, the tip of her nose, and smooched her lips. She was finally mine. I could read her mind and listen to all her thoughts. I smiled and slept hugging her.

I woke up, the next morning and found Natalie sleeping, hugging me tightly. I was shocked, thinking about how much I slept. We woke up the next morning. I noticed my human mate sleeping peacefully in my arms. Hair strands had covered her angelic face. I pushed aside the hair strands which were coming on her face. She snuggled more into me like a baby and I smiled hugging her. After an hour, I felt my mate squirming in her sleep. She opened her eyes but shut it again due to the sudden streak of light falling on her eyes. It took a few minutes for her to adjust to the falling light. She looked at me and smiled.

"Good Morning, Theodore," she said smiling, hugging me tightly.

"Good morning, Love. Slept well?" I asked her and she nodded.

"Great. Now quickly freshen up and come downstairs for breakfast,” I told kissing her forehead. "Please let me sleep for some more time," she pleaded like a small baby. "I am tired,” she whined. "Alright, I will quickly take a bath. Till then I want you to be up. Okay?" I asked and she nodded. She covered her face with a blanket and went to sleep again. I chuckled looking at her and went to take a bath.

I smiled thinking that finally, she was mine. I promised to protect her from all the evil and harm.
