Chapter 9

NATALIE'S POV:

I was confused about why everyone was shocked to hear, mom and dad's name. Suddenly I heard the growling of wolves and fear ran down my spine.

A woman came running and informed Theodore, "Alpha we have been attacked by the Rouges". Theodore clenched his fist angrily.

"Get our Pack, ready for the fight”, He commanded.

I was unaware, what was going on. Pack, Rouge, Fight? I was unable to understand what were they saying but I was frightened.

"What is going on, please let me go", I cried. Theodore immediately pulled me closer to his chest and hugged me.

"I won't let anything happen to you, Baby. I promise”, He whispered in my ears.

Another woman came running. She looked troubled.

"What's the matter?', Theodore asked.

"Alpha---Zen---", Her voice broke while informing.

'What has happened to him?", Theodore asked worriedly.

"He has been injured badly”, The women replied. Theodore was shocked to hear her. He caught my hand and dragged me out of the room. Kylie, Cassandra, Anna, along with her daughter Ziva followed us.

I started sobbing and crying.

"Where are you taking me, please let me go”, I begged but he ignored all my pleas and kept on dragging me.

Suddenly few wolves stopped our way and I screamed in fear looking at them. I was scared, numb to react. What was going on in this mansion?

I noticed Cassandra, Kylie, and Anna transforming into wolves slowly, which terrified me even more. Are they werewolves? No. werewolves do not exist. But how can I deny after seeing all these things in front of my eyes?

Theodore dragged me to his room and locked the door. He went near the wall and pressed a button. To my great astonishment, the wall opened and there was another room inside it.

The room was small with a black and red interior. There was a huge king-sized bed in the center of the room. There were curtains drawn, not even a single ray of light entered the room.

I was crying and sobbing continuously. Theodore hugged me tightly and told, "Baby please don't cry?”

"What is going on? Who are you'll", I asked hugging him back.

' Trust me, I felt solace in his arms. I was afraid of him, but at the same time, he was my peace. I was confused with my feelings, my heart was deceiving me. I just wanted him to stay closer to me, for now, forever.

"I'll tell you, Everything Princess, once everything gets into our control. Till then please stay over here”, He whispered kissing my forehead.

"Please don't go, I'm scared" I sobbed.

" Baby, I won't let anyone harm you", he told wiping off my tears.

He smiled at me for one last time and went from the room. I saw the door closing, and I kept looking at him. My eyes went on a tattoo of a wolf that was made on his hand, but before I could ask anything the door got shut.

The same tattoo was there on Mom and Dad's wrist too.

I could hear the howling of wolves that were terrifying me. Suddenly I heard some sounds of murmuring from Theodore's room. I thought it might be Theodore, and so I ran towards the door. I was about to bang at the door, but what I heard was enough to shock me.

I heard a manly voice. "Where is Natalie?"

"I don't know, I saw Alpha Theodore coming to his room with Natalie, so I thought she might be here in this room", a feminine voice replied.

"Search for her quickly so that we can kidnap her and leave before Theodore gets to know", the sharp manly voice ordered. I ran towards the bed and hid my face in the pillow and started crying. I felt my eyes getting heavy and I did not realize when did I fall asleep.

My sleep got disturbed due to the howling of wolves. The fight was going on still, I figured. I went towards the window and saw many wolves lying dead on the ground, while others were fighting. Suddenly a wolf's eyes went on me and he gnarled, which gained other wolves' attention too. They all looked towards me and started howling.

What have I done? Why are these wolves staring at me? What was going on? I was unable to understand anything.

The wolves ran towards the mansion but the other wolves pinned them back. However one of the wolves was successful in entering the mansion. He was huge brown in color, with blood on his paws. How scary he looked! Another wolf followed him. He was huge, and black in color.

Everything looked like a nightmare. I just wanted to escape from here, I wanted to escape from reality. I was tired, tired from pain, tired of living, tired of everything. I just wanted some peace.

I heard the growling of wolves. They entered Theodore's bedroom and in no time they would be here too.

My heart rate increased, breathing quickened and I could feel the rush of adrenaline in my veins. I felt the entire room spinning, I fell on the floor as I lost my balance.

I am going to get killed by these wolves. But what have I done that they want to kill me? I thought these werewolves they all existed in the fictional world. I saw the door of the room opening and Theodore came running. He was injured badly.

Ah, this headache is going to kill me!

Theodore immediately took my head on his laps and he tapped my cheeks gently.

“Baby everything is fine", He told softly rubbing my palms. Tears were rolling down my cheeks. There was an unknown pain in my heart.

I was struggling to keep my eyes open but to no avail. As my vision began to blur and everything blackened out.
