“Can we talk about why we are here, please?” He ran his fingers through his hair frustratingly even though he knew Lisa was not going to let him off the h**k until he agreed to do what she asked.

“Come on, it’s just an harmless date, sweet brother. I’m not in a position to be begging you for something now, you know, right?” The corner of her lips twitched into a smirk as she looked at him mischievously.

“Ugh! You are so annoying, b**h!” He cursed silently, but loud enough for her to hear him.

“I would’ve charged you for this, but since you are going to return the favor, then I think we are even now,” She tucked her hair behind her ear gently, trying to act cute just so she could annoying Xander.

“I should have Dad remove your name from the family register soon. I can’t have this greedy young lady as my sister,” He slowly shook his head and sighed.

“rill take that as a compliment. I love you too, darling. Give me a call when you’re done writing the letter. Take your time. I want to go around.” And with that, she stood up, grabbed her phone from his desk, and walked out of his office elegantly.

Xander read through the letter for the umpteenth time to be sure it was error free, and after tearing a few pieces of paper, he finally got it right.

He picked up the card on the table, folded the letter neatly, and pushed it gently inside the car, after which he closed it and dropped it on the bed.

The door opened without a knock, and Lisa walked inside with a smile on her face.

“Are you done already, brother?” She walked elegantly up to the chair across from him, and sat on it. Xander had called her to come over to his office a few minutes ago.

“I guess you forgot how to knock,”

“Don’t talk about that, sweetheart. I’m sure you really don’t want to. I can change my mind now, you know?” She sat majestically on the chair and swung her right leg over the left one while reclining on the chair with her chest pushed out.

“Don’t even think about using your assistant to threaten me. I can have my way with him without your help,” She winked at him, and he huffed.
