Chapter 24- meeting the agent

Something seemed different with Jenny when we talked. She seemed stand-offish in a way. Not being able to put my finger on it at the moment I head back to the room to get some rest.

“Any idea of what time tomorrow with this other agent?” I ask Red

“Around 10am, from what she told me.” I says sounding drowsy

I lay quiet for a while before my eyes begin to close, and sleep over takes me.

* 4 Hours later*

Red comes through the hotel room door with coffee and what smells like fresh baked donuts.

“Get up! We got an hour before we meet the agent.” Red states

I sit up and rub my eyes then look at my phone, its 8am and with how I slept I feel like someone walked over my grave. I get my cloths gathered up and head to the bathroom to shower.

Exiting the bathroom I notice a few donuts and a coffee left for me, I take a good heaping gulp and then grab a donut. I quickly scarf down three more donuts.

“You ready to go?” Red says while opening the door to the hotel.

"Yes. Lets ride." I tell him

We drive all the way out to a diner we passed on the way into town, our meet up place with the agent.

We walk inside the diner and Red nods his head towards the back booth where a tall brunette woman is sitting. She isn't looking up, she's looking at the menu to order something. Red slides into the booth and I slide in next to him.

"Nice for you men to finally show up. Was wondering when you was going to get here." She clips annoyingly

"We got here on time, sorry that you arrived early." Red growls

"Lets get this started before I'm missed at work. By the way who are you?" She ask looking at me

"I'm Scar, President of Rebel Skull MC, nice to meet you.." I say waiting for her response

"I'm Gabby, I work with the FBI, finding missing women and children." Gabby says

We sit and chat for over an hour about Agent Fields and how he's involved with the disappearance of the woman and children. We talked about Lexi's case and how she had seen him and that he was the one who had planned her kidnapping.

"What about setting up a decoy to be "kidnapped"?" I asked

"We could try that but who's to say he would fall for it. She could be searched." Gabby states but I interrupt

"Make the mic and camera part of her glasses they wont take those from someone who needs them." I say quickly

"Your on to something. That actually makes perfect sense. I'll contact my tech gal and let her know to get something started. I'll call you later Red, to let you know what's going on." Gabby

She gets up and leaves the diner after she puts down a twenty dollar bill. Red and I leave the diner and head back to the hotel to get our things to head back to the club house.

*2 hours later*

We are on the road headed back to the club house to get back to our woman. I honestly can't wait to see her. I've missed her and I know Red's missed her too. We're half way to there and I feel like we are being followed. When I look back I see a black SUV, with tinted windows all around, and so I sign to Red to let him know we're being followed and to follow my lead.

I turn down a one way street to see if the SUV is going to follow or not and when I see that it is following I decide to pull over and park and wait for the SUV to stop knowing it will. When the SUV pulls up behind us, then we know for sure.

Gabby steps out and walks over to us.

"Sorry to catch you off guard but I wanted to let you know that the tech has some glasses that have a camera and mic already ready for use." She says

"Thanks for letting us know. We appreciate it a lot." Red says

"You're welcome." she says then turns to head back to her SUV

"Let's get home to our baby girl and see how she's doing." Red says starting his motorcycle

*the next day*

We got in around 3:30am, some of the men were all still awake, playing pool or drinking a beer.

"We will have church when everyone is fully awake in the morning or after noon." I call out

"Make sure to message the ones who aren't here to let them all know." I tell HP

He nods his head then walks away. Red and I head to our room to crash next to our woman.

When we get there we notice the sheets are in a disarray and the bathroom light is peaking through the door. I sit and listen for a few seconds until I hear the toilet flush and then the water facet turn on, along with a gargling sound.

We both wait patiently until Jenny comes out of the bathroom. And when she does she sees us smiles, then turns pale white and rushes back to the bathroom to puke.

"Shit! Are you alright babygirl." I hear Red ask

Nothing comes from the bathroom for a few minutes then finally I've had enough of waiting, I jet to the bathroom and see Jenny hugging the toilet, tears coming from her eyes, she's not crying like she's upset.

"I'm.. I'm.. pregnant." She says in a whisper

I freeze, unsure of how to feel. Then I regain everything in my body back.

"You are?" I ask gently

"Yes. I found out before we talked on the phone, I wasn't sure how to talk to either of you about it and I preferred in person anyways." She says.

I grab the cup of water, and a tissue and give them to her. She wipes her mouth first, tips the cup back a bit, gargles then spits it out. She does this a few more times then hands me the cup back. I place it on the sink.

"I'm going to pick you up and carry you to the bedroom, you have to tell Red as well." I say in a whisper

She nods her head and holds on to me.

We walk out of the bathroom and Reds sitting on the bed. Concern sketched across his face.

"Is everything ok?" He ask

Jenny nods her head then gives him the verbal answer. "I'm pregnant."

Reds face lights up instantly.
