In this digital metropolis all programs are sorted Peaceful or Hostile with deadly consequences, until Pix, a naive but forceful newcomer arrives, programmed for revolution. Will citizens follow him? Or will they follow Phaedra, the wise pacifist who's been building a movement for decades? The ensemble cast features Sophia, an amnesiac teacher with a secret past; Brick, a cantankerous dictator; AL, a deeply influential algorithm; Troy, a nonbinary citizen nearly tortured by these rules, and thousands of superpowered programs fighting for change... and destruction.
