Chapter 44

Chris Shelby glanced at Susan and then said to Esther, "Don't worry, your mom will be fine in a minute.”

He knew Susan acted this way because she had been hurt hard all at once.

Chris took out his car key and got ready to drive.

"Chris, this is your car!"

John Jefferson looked at the Maybach in awe.

"This is a Maybach, and it looks very high-end, at least worth tens of millions!”

After all, John was a member of the Jefferson family, so he still knew something.

"Chris, how much does it cost?"

John looked at Chris and asked.

Chris smiled and replied, "It didn't cost much. It's only a hundred million..."

"What? One hundred million!"

Before Chris could finish speaking, Susan jumped up suddenly and shouted.

Chris was taken aback.

Just now, Susan was still in a state of despair - how did she recover in a snap?

"Oh my goodness, this is a car worth a hundred million!"

Susan stepped up and touched it carefully.

"Chris Shelby, is this car yours?" Susan asked, staring at Chris.

"This car..."

Before Chris could finish his answer, Esther said, "No way this car belongs to him. Chris rented it. Let's get in already, Hope is asleep in the car.”

Susan was disappointed with Esther's response.

So this premium Maybach wasn't Chris's.

Esther's response made sense to Susan at some point, so she moved on from the car. Obviously, a tramp like Chris could not afford a car worth a hundred million dollars.

After getting in the car, Susan said with a displeased face, "Where are you taking us? I am telling you - I am not living in that basement. You promised to buy us a mansion. If you don't, I'll make Esther divorce you!"

Chris was speechless - was this the same lost Susan as just now?

Sure enough, within three seconds, she returned to her old snobbish self!

"Take it easy. We will not go to the basement. We are heading to Cloud Bay!"

Chris said, and then he started the car.

"Chris, stop bragging! Renting a car doesn't mean you are rich, okay?"

Susan scolded, "I was really stupid to believe what you said. I want you to divorce Esther immediately!”

"Susan, even if you don't believe me, you should still trust Esther's choice. She's your daughter. I will prove myself to you in a minute.”

With that, Chris stamped hard on the gas and roared away.

Cloud Mountains.

This was the best villa area in East Coast.

The people who live here all had money and power.

It was said that a big shot was coming to the Cloud Mountains today.

And the big shot had become the master of Cloud Bay already!

Early in the morning, James Mester came to the Cloud Mountains.

The property management company serving Cloud Mountains belonged to him.

At the gate of the villa area, there were hundreds of property personnel and security guards. James looked at everyone with a serious face, "Today, no mistakes are allowed or forgiven. If anyone makes a mistake, he will be fired!"

Everyone looked solemn.

What kind of big shot was that?

James Mester took it so seriously!

Just when everyone was curious, a limited-edition Maybach worth a hundred million drove over. "Chris, let's head back! It'll be bad if we get kicked out by security.” Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ Findɴovel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

Susan snorted coldly, "Chris Shelby, you are just making a fool of yourself."

"Don't worry, I have paid already - there's no way they could evict us,” Chris said with a smile. "When will you stop bragging?”

Seeing Chris insisted on going to Cloud Bay, Susan sneered.
