Love or Die CEO’s Daily Dose of Swoon (Cordelia and Sanderson)
Love or Die CEO’s Daily Dose of Swoon Chapter 86

Chapter 86

There was a famous film critic on  wit and incisive reviews, who had quite a following. She was also called “VioletBreeze“. When she alred her opinions, the social media world listened. She was particularly passionate about a TV series that had captured the hearts of many, and her commentary- on the casting choices was always a hot topic.

Upon learning inat a high school student had been cast as the elusive character Vivienne, VioletBreeze unleashed a scathing review, “Vivienne, though she barely graces our screens, is the thread that weaves through this narrative. For someone to occupy the thoughts of our lead, Bland, for years, she must be portrayed with substantial depth. The veterans lack her youth and purity, and the young lack the gravitas to match Bland. I fear for the cast of Vivienne.”

Her tweet set the internet ablaze, prompting fans to flood the show’s official account with their dissatisfaction. The show–runners, rather amused, tweeted, “See you tonight at ‘Echoes of Time“.”

To everyone’s surprise, Bland himself chimed in with a tweet that momentarily silenced the online chaos, “This is the best Vivienne I’ve ever seen.”

The hashtag ‘Bland Supports Vivienne‘ skyrocketed, dividing his fanbase. Some rallied behind him, while others speculated if his account had been hijacked by his management.

Amidst the sea of doubt, a small number of positive reviews emerged from “Flame Union“. Yates, who had hoped to control the situation, found his efforts futile against Bland’s formidable fan army.

When “Echoes of Time” aired, hundreds of thousands tuned in to watch the unfolding drama.

VioletBreeze, who came from a comfortable background, was perched on her couch, pen and paper in hand, ready to unleash a fresh round of critique once the drama rolled. As expected, Bland’s performance was stellar

Then, at the 24–minute mark, Vivienne appeared on screen. Her side profile and back shots, dressed in a school uniform, initially captivated VioletBreeze with a critical eye, but she soon found herself intrigued.

VioletBreeze was curious about Vivienne’s performance.

When the piano lesson scene came, and Vivienne shared the frame with Bland, VioletBreeze was struck speechless. This actress perfectly matched with,Bland.

No denying it, this actress was a knockout! Her graceful features were simply mesmerizing. Subconsciously, VioletBreeze straightened up in her seat.  Sᴇaʀ*ᴄh the FɪndNovᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

As the camera zoomed in on Vivienne’s face, her subtle expressions, a mix of shyness and surprise, brought her intricate emotions to life.

Amazing!

Next, the camera shifted to a lingering shot of Vivienne, from a distance coming into the foreground, her fingers effortlessly gliding over the piano keys clearly, there was no stand–in used. The sunlight streamed through the window, bathing Vivienne in a radiance that gave every frame a stunning beauty.

This captured moment sent a heatwave through VioletBreeze’s heart. She found herself completely entranced, her eyes unwilling to spare a single blink.

The director indulged in a five–minute plano solo, which, despite its length, left viewers longing for more. VioletBreeze trembled her hands.

With the ending scene of Vivienne, VioletBreeze couldn’t wait to open her Twitter.

Across town, in the residence of Greenmeadow, Stanton and Joy watched the same piano scene.

Stanton lamented, “Lia’s technical skills are impeccable, but her playing lacks soul. She’ll never be a true plano

maestro,”

Joy didn’t catch what he said and just gazed at him in silence.

Online, the conversation erupted anew with hashtags like ‘Vivienne Stuns‘, ‘Vivienne At The Piano‘, and VioletBreeze Apologizes‘ dominating trends.

VioletBreeze issued an apology and shared a GIF of Vivienne’s intimate moment, concluding that the actress must be unwittingly in love with either Ivan (Bland’s character) or Bland himself for this good performance.

By morning. “Vivienne Loves Bland‘ topped the trending charts.

Unaware of the commotion, Cordelia, focused on her studies, missed the episode entirely, while the Delaney family busied themselves preparing for their guest tomorrow, Calvert. They made more efforts at home decoration to welcome Calvert than that for Stanton last time.

Lorna did watch the show with Sanderson, but seeing no interest from Cordelia, Lorna didn’t discuss it.

Cordelia, burdened with schoolwork, headed off to class, as high school juniors seldom had weekends free.

A star like Bland naturally drew

attention. In one night, a slew of fan fiction pairing Cordelia and Bland had sprung up.

‘Bland had long forgotten that fateful night with Cordelia, but for her, the memory of the star–studded evening glowed as brightly as the neon lights on Broadway. She was his biggest fan, a true groupie. When Cordelia discovered she was carrying his child, she kept it a secret, giving birth in quiet solitude. Life went on. During surprise cameo on set, Cordelia’s heart skipped a beat as she once again stood before the man who haunted her dreams. After a brief scene together, she slipped away unnoticed, but her plans were upended when her little bundle of joy toddled over who looked up with innocent eyes and said, “Daddy, do you love mommy? You can get her and get a cute baby like me.”

Everard stared, dumbfounded.

What sort of soap opera nonsense was this? Nonsense!

Just as Everard pondered this madness, a message popped up on his phone.

Bland explained, ‘Bro, you gotta let me explain! It’s not what you think, I swear!”

Everard scoffed. He promptly blocked Bland’s number.

Calvert shivered next to him.

f it were

Then, Cordelia walked in with breakfast, and they ate in tense silence. After finishing, Cordelia left as if i just another day, leaving Calvert to shudder at the thought of what might come next.

Two classes later, during the longer break, Everard suddenly stood up.

Calvert gaped, “Boss, what are you planning to do?”

Wasn’t he going to destroy the school?

Without any words, Everard calmly straightened his jacket and headed out.

At that moment, the students of Greenmeadow International School were mid–routine, stretching and bending to the rhythm of the morning exercise broadcast, Cordelia, in her school uniform, was diligently following along when a familiar and deep voice interrupted the broadcast, “Cordelia, please report to the front office Your boyfriend is here to see you”

The entire field fell silent

At the security but of Greenmeadow International School, there was a public–address system connected to the school’s broadcast station. It was usually used to relay messages or call for students during class

Typically, if students‘ parent came to pick them up, the quard would wait until a break between classes to make the announcement, allowing the student to meet their family

However, the students of Greenmeadow International School often treated certain school rules with a pinch of salt. As long as they weren’t too conspicuous, the teachers turned a blind eye. Thus, the use of the public address system for calling students had become a rare occurrence.

At the security hut, the quard was urgently trying to get a message to Everard, “What’s the deal? Didn’t we agree? You’re supposed to make the announcement after the morning exercise. Why’d you jump the gun?Everard stood there with his hands in his pockets, his chiseled features and perfect figure giving him the air of a movie star. Yet the quard softened his tone as he spoke to him, eventually taking on an almost pleading note. Everard had asked the guard to call for Cordelia, claiming he was her family, which fell within the scope of the quard’s duties, so the guard had agreed.

Everard then mentioned that it was quite hot outside and asked to rest inside for a bit. The guard, bewitched, let him in. Moments later, while the quard stepped out to check on a situation at the gate, Everard seized the moment to use the public–address system.

Everard showed no sign of guilt. In a calm and nonchalant voice, he said, “Sorry, I didn’t watch the time.” The guard was speechless.

While it was a mistake, it wasn’t a major one. Yet the issue was…

“Didn’t you say you were Cordelia’s family? That’s why I let you use the public address system. How come you’re

her boyfriend?”

The guard had thought, at most, this guy could be Cordelia’s brother! Or even if there was some kind of relationship, they would be more discreet about it. After all, this was high school, and dating was frowned upon!

Everard leaned against the desk where the guard logged visitors, his tall stature making the small room feel cramped. He touched his nose and countered, “A boyfriend isn’t family?”

The guard was left speechless, unable to retort.

On the playing field, the students erupted in laughter when they heard the announcement. Even the supervisor, who was overseeing the exercise, couldn’t help but glance at Cordelia.

Students from other classes teased, “Cordelia, better hurry to the guard’s hut. Don’t keep your boyfriend waiting too long!”

“Golly, what a riot!”

The jest was not malicious, but the butt of such jokes would inevitably feel a bit embarrassed.

And just as a classmate finished teasing, he felt a kick to his behind. Staggering forward, he blurted out, “Which jerk dared to kick me..

Turning around, he saw Yates with his red hair and defiant blue eyes glaring at him, “Wanna repeat that, tough guy?

The classmate was stunned.

Yates was never one to join in the morning exercise. When did he start participating in the morning exercises? But

Show was not the time to ponder that. Faced with a tough guy like Yates, the classmate clamped his mouth

Yates swept his piercing gaze over the surrounding onlookers. The rubbernecking students immediately fell silent, not daring to say another word.

With the broadcast exercise over, the crowd began to disperse. But clusters of nosy students lingered.

reluctant to leave..

Thanks to rumors sparked by Juliana, everyone whispered that Cordelia was keeping a sugar baby who was after her money. The rumor was treated as a joke, with all sorts of snide remarks made in private.

Nearby, a couple of students were gossiping, “I heard he’s her sugar baby and came to the school to get s

get some cash, huh?”

“Curious what her boyfriend looks like. Surely no self–respecting guy would let himself be kept, right? Isn’t he some sissy, or a gigolo?”

“What’s a gigolo?”

“Just look it up!”

Amidst the buzz, Cordelia calmly made her way to the security hut, flanked by members of the Flame Union, led by Yates. At first glance, their formidable escort could’ve been mistaken for a prelude to a showdown.

After a few steps, Cordelia realized something was off and slowly turned to inquire, “Why are you all following me?”

Flame No. 1 hastily explained, “What if that punk is here to shake you down? We’re here to back you up!”

Yates, slightly awkward, coughed and added, “We can’t have the boss of Flame Union getting roughed up. It’d be bad for our rep.”

Cordelia tilted her head, finding his demeanor rather endearing. She fished in her pocket and pulled out a lollipop, offering it to him.

Yates was perplexed. He stared at the lollipop in Cordelia’s hand for a moment before realizing, “For me?”

Cordelia nodded.

Yates unwrapped the candy and once the sweet taste hit his palate, he realized Cordelia was treating him like

a kid

His brow furrowed as he pulled the lollipop out of his mouth, then glanced at Cordelia walking ahead. Her high ponytail swayed with each step, her posture ramrod straight…

Yates popped the lollipop back in his mouth. Yeah, it was quite sweet.

The group marched on, surrounding Cordelia protectively as they approached the entrance. The onlooking students kept their distance, eager to see the infamous sugar baby

The guard suddenly noticed a crowd heading his way and froze mid–bite of his apple. What was this? A mass

breakout?

The members of Flame Union formed a protective circle around Cordelia, stopping five paces from the guard’s hut. Yates halted their advance, allowing only Cordelia to move forward, giving her the space she needed to speak.

This display made the rest of the onlookers even more hesitant to approach, stretching their necks from afar to catch a glimpse of the action.

Someone whispered, “I heard about Cordelia’s sugar baby the same day she was jilted at the altar by Hanley. It must’ve been a knee–jerk reaction, just picking up some random guy.”

Another voice chimed in, “Regardless of what her boyfriend looks like, no way he’s hotter than Hanley, right?”

Hanley was the heartthrob of their school. Actually, Yates wasn’t half bad looking, but his shock of fiery red hair was quite something to take in.

Hayley was also lurking in the crowd, with a sly grin, she piped up, “What’s the use of her being a brainiac? At the end of the day, she’s gotta get hitched. On that score, she’s trailing behind Juliana. I mean, with that pretty–boy look, how can she even start to compare with someone like Hanley?”

“Here they come! Look sharp!”

Someone in the group shouted, and everyone’s attention snapped to the commotion.

There at a distance, Cordelia stood outside the door, speaking to someone unseen. Then, Everard emerged, dressed in nondescript black garb that screamed no particular brand, but hinted at a tall silhouette.

He seemed to sense the eyes upon him and glanced over at the crowd. His gaze was sharp, cutting through the distance like a knife, leaving a trail of hushed whispers in his wake.
