"Hurry up! Do you think that I have all day?" The guard said harshly. He didn't bother to hide the disgust that he had for kayla.

Kayla could not take it anymore. "Do you know who l'am?! My father is the beta! I assure you that he can make you pay if you dare to be rude to me!" Kayla said.

Kayla wanted to argue but she held herself back. She thought that it was useless. Besides, she hadn't eaten anything for the entire day. She refused to eat the food given to her because it was tasteless. She didn't have the energy to argue with the guard.

She walked out of the cell and let the guard lead her to the meeting room.

Kayla broke down crying when she entered the meeting room and saw who had come to visit her.
