“Sav wanted to stay here and take care of you, and your stepmother told me to leave tomorrow.”

When he heard this, Quintin felt his chest tighten. “What did you say?” He couldn’t help but question.

“I agreed to it!”

Caroline intentionally did that to see how Quintin would respond. “Don’t you hate me? So, I just agreed to it. Tomorrow, I’ll leave the Ziegler residence, and she’ll be the one taking care of you! I’m sure Sav is gentler and more understanding than I am, and she won’t abuse you!”

“I don’t want her to take care of me! Caroline, you’ve already signed an agreement with me. If I don’t recover, you can forget. bout leaving!”

Caroline was only teasing him and didn’t even use much force. After breaking free from his grasp, she continued helping him wipe his body.

She lifted the blanket and reached out to help him unbutton his shirt. However, Quintin suddenly grabbed her hand and asked anxiously, “What are you trying to do?”

“I need to remove your clothes to help wipe your body.”

“Don’t you dare touch me!” Quintin ordered.

“If I don’t touch you, how am I supposed to clean you? Can’t you smell how badly you stink? Didn’t you know that you’ll get bedsores if you lie in bed for a long time without cleaning your body?”

After listening to Caroline’s explanation, Quintin fell silent momentarily. He then propped himself up with his hands with much difficulty.
