The slap did not land on Leon’s face. He raised his angry face and saw his mommy. His nose twitched, and tears welled up. in his eyes as his mommy was finally here.
“Who are you? Why are you pulling me?”
Yasmin tried to loosen the grip on her wrist but failed a few times.
Caroline’s car was stuck in a traffic jam for a while. Thus she arrived late. But she did not expect to see this.
Yasmin, along with her own son, was bullying Caroline’s son. “Well, very well. I’ll let her know the consequence of bullying my son!” Caroline swore in her heart.
“You want to hit my son? Let me see who has the guts to bully my son!”
Caroline glared at her and shook off her hand. She brought Leon to her side.
Yasmin stood still. She said furiously, “What do you mean by your son? Where did you pop out, and who are you to simply call him your son?”
Yasmin looked at Savannah. “Who is she, Ms. Xydias?”
“She’s the woman who married Mr. Ziegler to bring him good luck. Her name is Caroline Lewis, Savannah explained unwillingly.
“Oh! So you’re that woman from the Ziegler family! I thought you were really that boy’s actual mother, but you’re just a stepmother! What’s the big deal?”
Yasmin turned up her nose at Caroline and even snubbed her role in the family.
Caroline did not care about her identity. All she cared about was her son. She demanded coldly, “Apologies to my son!” “You want me to apologize to him? Humph! Take a good look at what he’s done to my son’s face. What if my son got disfigured? He’s my only son! Can you afford it?”
Yasmin’s shouting also attracted a lot of other parent onlookers. They were pointing and talking.
“It’s you and your son who mocked my son first. My son defended himself by fighting back. You can’t beat my son for any reason! Yes, your son is young. But instead of educating him, you’re spoiling him! I’ll give you a minute and you all must apologize to my son! Or there will be consequences!” Caroline said.
Yasmin laughed even more at her warning tone. “Who do you think you are? That’s a lot of guts you got there! Nobody in Jipsdale has dared to speak to me like that. You’re telling me there’ll be consequences. I just won’t apologize. What can you
do?”
“Good! Very good!”
Caroline called Riley and asked him to take Leon away. Leon turned to face Caroline, and after Caroline nodded at him, he decided to leave.
Savannah did not leave. She wanted to see how Caroline would end up offending Yasmin.
Caroline spoke up after her son’s departure. “I’ve just given you two chances and you didn’t take it, so don’t blame me!”
After speaking, Caroline raised her hand and slapped Yasmin hard across the face.
There was a loud slap, sending a shock to the parents. Savannah was more shocked because she did not believe that Caroline would actually slap Yasmin!
“Good Heavens!” Savannah exclaimed in her heart.
She rushed for her phone and started recording.
Yasmin was stunned for a moment. “How dare you hit me? Do you know who I am?”
Caroline could not care less about who she was. She only cared about her son who could not speak. Once again, she raised her hand and slapped Yasmin twice.
“Slap. Slap”
Yasmin’s hair was muddled, and there was blood around her mouth.
Horrified, but furious, she said, “How dare you, Caroline Lewis! You actually hit me! You crazy bitch!”

It was another series of slaps. Caroline slapped her relentlessly before grabbing her by the hair. “Listen up! If you dare bully

Leon again, I’ll make you bear the consequences! You have till twelve o’clock tomorrow to apologize in person at the Ziegler residence or I’ll make you regret it!” she demanded.
As Caroline let go of Yasmin, she kicked the latter so hard that she flew off the road. Yasmin crashed into a wall and fell to the ground. She was moaning in pain and could not get up.
All the people around who saw this scene were frightened.
They all thought Caroline was too mean, not taking Yasmin for granted..
Savannah filmed the scene and was pleased. She wondered if the Ziegler family would still take Caroline’s side if they found out that she was such a troublemaker.
As she thought about it, Caroline turned around. Savannah was taken aback and hid her phone.
She was rather terrified at Caroline who was approaching her. “What are you doing, Caroline?”
“What’s the use of you being a nursery teacher if you don’t step in to stop Leo from being bullied?”
Caroline unceremoniously slapped Savannah twice, causing the latter to be stunned.
At this point, Caroline exuded a strong murderous aura. Her aura was so ruthless that no one dared to approach her.
The crowd made way for her when she walked outside.
Caroline got back in the car and ordered Riley to drive. She turned to her son. “Sorry, Leo, Mommy got stuck in a traffic jam today and couldn’t make it in time. I’m sorry,” she said.
Leon did not need an apology from his mommy. As long as his mommy was here, he was happy.
He threw himself into Caroline’s arms and held her close.
Besides that, he knew that his mommy must have taught the bully a lesson just now. Only his mommy cared for him so much and was willing to vent his anger for him.
His mommy really loved him.
It was what Caroline did as a protective mother that touched Leon. Tears fell down his face as he was in her embrace.
Caroline was also in tears. She consoled, “Don’t be scared, Leo. Leo is strong! Mommy won’t allow anyone to bully you! Mommy will protect Leo!”
Instead of taking her son home immediately, Caroline took him to buy a new set of clothes and to eat at KFC.
Leon had not been this cheerful in a long time. He felt so happy to go shopping with his mommy.
Once they were back at the Ziegler residence, Caroline carried her son through the door. Michael, the housekeeper, had been waiting for them. He said, “There you are, Mrs. Ziegler.”
“What’s wrong. Michael?”
“Let’s go in first!”
She followed Michael into the main living room of the Ziegler residence and saw several people there, including Savannah. The atmosphere was obviously tense.
“Mrs. Ziegler is back, Mrs. Ziegler!”
Everyone in the room looked toward Caroline. She then placed Leon down before Carmen spoke up. “Caroline, have you gone too far today? How can you harm Savannah?”
“Any problem that I hit her?”
Caroline looked at Savannah.
Savannah fumed, “Caroline! I didn’t do anything to you at all today. You just came up out of the blue and hit me! You slapped me twice, and my face is still swollen!”
“Was I wrong for hitting you? Or did I hit less?” Caroline asked drily.
“You! You’re crossing the line!”
Savannah was in tears as if she had been deeply wronged.
“What’s going on?”
Catherine wanted to know the real reason. Savannah had only just arrived at the Ziegler residence. Nothing was clear except that Caroline hit Savannah.
“I ran into her when I went to pick up Kent, Bryan, and Leo today. She wanted to pick up Leo too. She’s not qualified to

pick up Leo, okay? Then she snatched Leo away and hit me!” Savannah distorted the facts.
There was no way Catherine could just listen to one side. She asked Caroline, “Caroline, it’s okay for you to pick up Leo. But why did you hit Sav?”
